From the outside it looks like just like a normal hotel, but the inside is much nicer than you'd expect. The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient. I attended an event, and it was raining outside. The indoor doors were locked, and people were told they'd have to go out into the rain and enter through the outside doors. They took my advice to put up a sign well before, so you could turn around and drive your vehicle to the proper side of the building. I have never stayed in a room here, but the areas I saw including the public restrooms were clean.

Easy access off I-70. Adequate parking, even with trailer. Friendly service. Price reasonable relative to comparable motels, but in my opinion they are all too expensive. Shower was cool, definitely not warm water. Cool enough to irritate me and that made it not worth the money. I reported the issue. I thought the front desk clerk might voluntarily offer some discount, but did not. Cool water issue was probably a temporary problem, none the less I am less likely to stay here again the next time I pass through Columbia.

Great hotel! We stopped to stay the night on our drive back to Ohio from Kansas City, and they were incredibly accommodating. The toilet in our original room was making a really weird noise, and we went down and they immediately upgraded our room and moved us, even though we didn't ask for it and wouldn't have cared if they didn't. The rooms are nice and clean.

We didn't stay overnight but met for a picnic lunch in the lobby. Our family had a room, we used the shower there and the housekeeping staff was so kind and helpful. The pool smelled so strongly of chlorine that we did not swim. The outdoor pool was still winterized. The facilities were satisfactory. The shower and tub in the room were very large and the water pressure was great. The bathroom in the room overall was 5 stars.

I came here to work as a proctor for the Bar Exam. Beautiful lobby near the Expo center. Food served was fine - build your own sandwich. If the hotel is in charge of feeding us, it would be nice to see other options than just sandwiches and salads.
