I want to like this place. I live in the neighborhood and it's convenient. Of the maybe 5 times I've been there, I've only been happy with the work once or twice. I go for the mani-pedi and it's always just okay. The last time i went was because i was in a hurry and it was close. The girl did such a lazy job on my nails that when i asked her to even a nail that she had filed crookedly, she gave me the nail file and told me to do it! Can you believe that? I think she was upset because i opted for the regular mani vs the gels - it meant less money for her. Which i understand. But she basically stopped caring after I made that decision. I asked her to clip my nails, and she said, "next time." I was shocked. I won't be going back, but to the owners - do better! You have a great location and i would have loved to been a regular, but can't waste money like that.

Kathy, the nail and pedi manager at Talk of the Town, now Ocean Nail Spa & Hair on Washington Blvd is a perfectionist. She does the very best job of meeting your specific design and health needs when she does your nails. Try her once and you will be hooked ob seeing her every time you need your fingernails done.

I love this Salon. All the girls are very nice and welcoming. I always look forward to being pampered!!!
