I love coming to Chrome for all of my hair needs. Renee knows what looks good on me and gives me great advice on cut and colors. She takes very good care of me, knowing how to keep my hair healthy even after all the extreme colors I do almost every visit. I say come to Chrome for a fun, relaxing appointment. They all Crack me up! It may be a little pricey but you get way more than what you pay for. 💗 So worth it!!! I will not go anywhere else, Chrome is my second home now.

Very very friendly staff. I checked them out because I was going for a purply red color but wanted more purple in it so I thought going somewhere that specializes in vibrant crazy colors would be good. I had medium length brown hair that’s about a level 6. On the phone they quoted me about $300 but I decided to go in for a consultation to be more accurate. I showed them the color I wanted and they said they would have to make me a FULL CARD PLATINUM to achieve it. I knew that didn’t sound right plus they tried to say it would be $315+ just to color it. Because it’s an all day job. And said no matter where I go it’ll be that much. The next day I went somewhere else, it look 2 hours with no bleach. I got exactly what I wanted for $109 before tip. They cut, colored, and styled my hair for $109. This place really tried to scam me.
Definitely do research about getting hair color before going here to make sure they don’t try to scam you.
They probably thought they would get away with it because I told them I had virgin hair and thought I wouldn’t know. When I told the lady that did my hair at the other place what they said she started laughing so hard and got all the other stylists laughing about it too.

I highly recommend all curlies in the area try a cut and style with Renee Caron! She was pleasant and very helpful. She took the time to show me exactly how much products to use, how to apply it properly, and what it will feel like when I get it right. I would never have been able to get this kind of education from the curly girl groups on Facebook. They just thoroughly confused me. Now I am confident that I can style my hair. ♥️

Love the New Location, very nice inside you can park on store street and take the stairs right up to Chrome Salon.

Ryann was wonderful. She trimmed and cut my hair as well as curled it. The positive and friendly atmosphere of the salon was very enjoyable. Today was my first time at Chrome, and I look forward to going back again to get my hair colored.
