The quality of the nail services is fantastic. I am very pleased with the gel manicure I got. At other places I get frustrated when the polish ends up on my cuticles, but not here! Also very fast for the quality. A couple weird things: they do not post prices anywhere (not on line, not in a brochure, not even on a poster in the salon). To me this is rather silly, as they expect you to ask the price of every service. In the image I shared you can see the prices of most nail services (gel mani is $30, it's 25 for their happy hour pricing). The chairs are not massage chairs (you sit in a soft bench) so it that is something you expect normally you will not have it here. Overall I would recommend this place if you care about the quality of the nail work, like I do. If you're more into the "experience" of massage chair, massage while your nails dry, etc. you won't get it here. As for me, I'll keep coming back!

I've been going to Polish nearly every two weeks since December 2018, and have never once been disappointed! After getting my first gel manicure at the salon with Ken, I've been seeing him regularly for gel. I generally make appointments two weeks ahead of time, and go to the salon after work ready to enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine with my mani. I'm always greeted with a smile and enthusiasm by staff members, no matter how busy the salon might be! I choose my color and am quickly whisked away to get started - with an appointment, they are always on time! Ken is always kind, and does an incredible job with shaping and with applying the gel color. I never have bumps, bubbles or cracks. I also got my first EVER pedicure with Ken at Polish, and I was so thoroughly impressed! He did a great job - showing me each step, being gentle and laughing along with me and my ticklish feet. Overall, I would highly recommend Polish Nail Lounge to folks in Philly! Their staff is kind, the atmosphere is relaxed, and you won't be disappointed!

I’ve been going to Polish for over 3, close to 4 years now. Even traveling to the Fairmount location when the Northern Liberties salon closed. Leona and her team are beyond amazing. A true leader, Leona has a process that she’s mastered and enforced in all her team members. Not only is the salon clean and constantly updating, but it’s the ONLY place that ensures my nails last well beyond 2 weeks. I would recommend this salon to anyone who asks 10 times over again.

I have mixed feelings about this salon. I left the place that I was going to simply because this salon is closer and my sister suggested I try it. She knows I don't mind paying whatever the cost for a great service. The environment is nice and clean and most of the staff is friendly and accommodating. With that said, each time I've come I've felt rushed, but I returned because I liked the outcome of my service, up until now. To begin, the salon charges more than most salons for the same services, so it should be expected that the service would be exceptional. I get the powder and a pedicure and my total is $70 + tip and I tip well. The spanish woman that was doing my powder made them look wonderful, but the powder was so thin that my nails were cracking and chipping on the tips. This last visit, I came in with 5 broken nails (I had already returned days prior to get one fixed). When I arrived, I was told to tell her and she'll just do them a little thicker. I asked the young lady that did my pedicure to let her know, since she spoke spanish as well. She told her and I can instantly see her get agitated. I sat to get my nails done and she began doing it the same way, so I reiterated that I needed them a little thicker on the tips because my nails were breaking (they were so thin that they were bendable). She got really snappy with me and said I'M NOT DONE YET and yanked my hand. I asked the other young lady to tell her again and she did, but the nail tech began arguing with her about it. Then she, out of spite began to pile on layers and had my nails so thick it was horrible. She didn't want to shape them of file them anymore so she attempted to polish over the lumps. I told her I didn't want her to finish. Then another nail tech came over making excuses saying if she filed my fingers would bleed. Angel heard this and said "just file her nails" and he sat and tried to fix it for me but it was far too gone. I tipped him $14 for his efforts. I was so unhappy I called back the next day to see if they can be filed down, but Angel said "they are too thick, just take it off and he'll redo them". I came back the next day, sat for over an hour. The salon coordinator hovered the entire time. I went to wash my hands and she questioned Angel where I was because at this point, I'm being rushed because his appointment has arrived. I left unsatisfied again. I was so disappointed and frankly my feelings were hurt. They did try to accommodate me by fixing the problem, but my nails looked and still look horrible.

Fun staff! And they offer so many services that other salons don’t have from wine to teeth gems. I won’t go anywhere else
