AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I went here for a simple wash/set/cut on my bday Jan 24, 2020. Long story short the lady at that salon put something in my hair to make it “easier” for them to straighten as I opted out of the hair dryer because I was pressed for time. And though I didn’t hear completely what was said I heard her make a comment on my hair being “too curly” as she washed it (my Spanish is not that great)
SN:I usually do my hair but since I was rushing I decided to go to this salon that is right around the corner from where I live.
BTTS: I should’ve known something was up the very next day I went for a workout and my hair did not curl at all it got wavy at most with all my sweat but because it was my birthday weekend I just went on to touch up hair with my flat iron on Jan 25 for my last bday celebration. I didn’t wash my hair until Jan 30 and immediately clumps of hair fell from my head/hand as I finger comb my hair and wreaked of chemicals. I rarely use combs/brushes but I popped one out that day because I stupidly thought I was being too aggressive with my hair. I waited 2 days to see if it would subside but it didn’t. Hair continued to fall out in clumps from the Roots! (See photos below) I unfortunately could not see the lady until a few days later as they don’t have a specific opening time and I am unable to go after work. Upon arriving Feb 3rd I calmly spoke to lady, explained & showed my before/after and current pics and she insisted nothing extra was put on my hair and tried to SELL me something to fix a problem they caused! Unfortunately because they recycle bottles there was no way to tell what was actually used. She then had the nerve to bring up my highlights and say that’s the reason for my massive hair loss and almost bald spot! That’s when I lost it and told her I want my money because my highlights are practically grown out and it’s been about three years AND you didn’t even cut my hair straight! She told me to come back later that week for the money “because she didn’t have” I don’t know if she thought I was gonna forget but I came back exactly a week later and with new photos of my bald spot and scabs from whatever she used on my hair and she had the nerve to tell me it was “natural” with an attitude and rolled her eyes and walked away,smfh.
As upset as I am about this whole thing I did learn to appreciate my curls as I used to complain about them being too curly/springy and how I wish my curls were a little bit looser. Careful what you wish for!

I got my hair braided. OMG i couldn't withstand iit. I had to take it out . Felt like it was pulling my brain out. Corn rows is not for everyone.

Visiting this beauty salon was an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for by the friendly and professional staff. I loved how they listened to my needs and gave me expert recommendations to improve my style. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, which made my visit even more enjoyable.
