Lorraine is simply AMAZING!!! I have been going to Lorraine since 2013 and I will follow her wherever she goes. Highland Salon is a beautiful classy place and has one of the best beauticians ever in Lorraine! THIS PLACE IS A MUST GO AND YOU MUST VISIT LORRAINE!!

Had spent 7 months growing my hair out. Went to have it shaped into layers, cohesive layers and ended up with a mess! She also refused to cut bangs to frame my face. Can't believe I paid....Now I have to go and have the mullett-ish haircut I received fixed. Debbie is who cut my hair. She does not listen. Too scared to have her fix it. Horrible! Done with Highland Salon!

I am a stay at home mom of three and my husband wanted me to have a special day at the salon. It started with a GREAT facial from Becky but ended with a train-wreck. I called two weeks in advanced and talked with the hairstylist that was going to do my hair. We talked about an ash-blonde balayage and on the ends I wanted pink/purple. She quoted me $220 over the phone and said it will take some time; which I was fine with. Once I was done with my facial my appointment was suppose to be at 12:15 but didn't even see the stylist until around 12:45. She was really nice and I showed her two pictures I had on pinterest. I have natural honey blonde hair with no dye. She told me that it will come out great and she probably doesn't even need to use toner in it since my hair is healthy. I sat in the chair for about 2 hours and then went to the shampoo station (which they are not comfortable at all). Ended up sitting in the shampoo station for 30 minutes while she was putting purple in my hair. This is when I started to get uneasy. I asked her twice making sure she was only doing the ends; she assured me that she was. Finally it was time to see this hair I was anticipating for weeks and I was shocked at the results. There was absolutely no color change in my hair except a blob of purple in the back (as you can see in the pictures). I even told her that I was disappointed in the color and she told me that I can come back to try and get the blonde I want. I went home and sent an email to the salon voicing my disappointment and requested either some sort of refund or redo with no cost. The next morning the "manager" Kristen/Christie called me to discuss my email. She starts with saying that I need to come in when the hairstylist has time to look at it. I told her I could come in this afternoon and she said that she would have to check on their schedule. Then she proceeded to say that the hairstylist said she told you from the beginning that ash/platinum hair might not come through. Which of course that is what she would say since she has something to lose. I told Kristen that was untrue and I was expecting at least some change in my hair even if it turned orange but there was no difference. I have gone to Visible Changes last time I did my hair (about 7 years ago) and had no issue of something not taking. Then the "manager" said to me in the rudest possible voice; "Just give me your credit card information for a refund because I think you came in expecting to be disappointed with your hair". That is when I have to say I lost my temper; I have been planning and dreaming of this hair for weeks, sat in the salon for over 4 hours, just to come in EXPECTING crappy hair? Really? I have never heard such a rude thing to say to a customer; especially when this "manager" is in customer service industry. I asked for the owners names; which she would not give me...saying they were out of town. She keep saying, just give me your credit card number for the refund when I was trying to explain myself. I know I lost my cool and was yelling at points but she kept adding fuel to my fire talking so rude/condescending to me. I hope the owners do see this or if anyone reading this knows them...please let me know. She needs to go to some serious customer service classes! I am happy to receive my refund (which I hope I get) but I really wanted my hair done. Now you have lost a devoted customer for the facials as well.

I've always had great experiences at Highland Salon over many years. Really good stylists are here, facility is clean and elegant, scheduling and front desk is efficient and professional. I was able to make an appointment for same day. Good value for the price. Megan was fantastic and did an amazing job on my haircut. I did a big change and she did a consult with me, asked the right questions, and explained what she was doing during the cutting process. I'm very happy and will be back!

First time at this hair salon and I loved it ! My stylist Stephanie took such good care of my emergency hair needs! After a DIY hair fail, she totally fixed it better than I expected! She was so kind and professional, I’ll definitely be going back to her! Anyone looking for a great stylist ask for Stephanie! Thanks Stephanie for the fabulous job!
