They're aig't........
The first time I came in, they were treating me like a queen, conversed with me in English and had my nails looking beat.
So I gave a $15 tip.
Second time I came in they acted like they didn't know me, even though the lady who I had last time (Linda) CLEARLY knew who I was.
I greeted Linda who was seated and she reluctantly said,
"Hello".
So me being me thought to myself,
"AIG'T"
But it didn't phase me cause they do my nails great.
So this time I asked for a manicure fill and a pedicure. And Linda calls another woman to do my nails.
I was thinking to myself like,
"Yo, what did I do to Linda? She didn't like my $15 dollar tip....damn, AIG'T"
Now this is what I didn't appreciate.
They do your feet and hands at the same time.
Maybe it's so your; the customer's time is not wasted, which is a nice thought, but my acrylic refilled nails came out looking bumpy and rushed and
I did not like that at all.
I like my hands and feet to be pampered, not feel as though I'm being rushed.
Their pedicures are absolutley horrible.
When the lady was doing my feet (though very kind and sweet), she did a bad job on my heal and barely scraped the bad skin off of my foot and they still felt slightly rough afterwards.
But I still left a $20 tip because the older woman who did my feet was sweet.
I'm ALL ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Secondly, I didn't like how when another black woman came into the shop asking for how she wanted her nails, they started speaking Vietnamese and laughing immediately afterwards.
I think it's very unprofessional.
And though I'm down for people expressing themselves, their culture and their language; dont be rude and smug and immediately start talking mad mess in your language like we dont know you ain't talking shyt about us.
Because when other none African American woman came in they (the Vietnamese nail techs) would immediately greet them at the door with a,
"Hello, how can I help you"? and not utter a disrespctful word in vietnamese. Nor were they laughing with one another. But kept it professional with their customer.
But that same energy was not expressed to the two African-American women.
But when 2 black woman came in, it was like they were obligated to serve, not that they wanted to.
And the only reason why they treated me kindly the first time was because I was wearing a conservative looking outfit on.
The second time I came back, they treated me like,
"What does she want"
Didn't even greet me, I had to say,
"Hello, hi, I'd like to get a refill "
I mean for real? crazy!!!!!
So because of that I won't be back. And I'll find another place.
And black women, dont frequent them again. I'm telling you, be stingy with your wallets towards people who look at your money like it's a freggin race.
Cause money's not a race.
Its paper.....
