Love the techs at this particular shop. Ask for ANTHONY... he does Magic with nails and does a Great Pedicure!! Great attention to detail, friendly, and easy to understand! Prices ate comparable here to just about any other nail salon like this.

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I came in for a full set. The man insisted I get white tips instead of clear even though I was getting polish on top. I said “I don’t want french. I want all white nails, so I don’t need white tips” he insisted these were better and said “I can put any color polish on top. These look better under polish.” He started doing my nails and was putting the tips on crooked, which I brought up to him. He said it’ll look fine once they’re filed. Once he started filing I said again that they were crooked. He said “it’s not my nails that are crooked. It’s your crooked fingers. Some people have ugly hands, that’s all. You probably have crooked toes too. Not my fault.” A completely unprofessional comment. A large party came in and I could tell he started rushing. He tried to tell me that I should leave them french without the polish. I said no, and that I told him from the beginning I wanted ALL WHITE, not french. He said I shouldn’t have agreed to white tips. I brought up the fact that he said he could put any polish on top of them, and he said I was wrong and he never said that. Then he told me I should learn to do my nails myself next time instead of complain. I couldn’t believe how bad of an experience I had here. I shouldn’t have paid, but I didn’t want to fight. When I was checking out with another nail tech, he looked at my nails and I think he felt bad for me. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Absolutely horrible. The older guy had an attitude the entire time. Me and my friend went together. Her nails came out so uneven and crooked it was ridiculous. The guy I had took his time but made it rather an uncomfortable experience. They seemed really confused as well. I said I wanted a full set. They asked the length and I said I wanted it to be a little bit short. He then doesn’t even cut my nails, adds no tips and tried putting the acrylic just covering my natural nail. I’m sorry but what? When I told him he didn’t add a tip he looked at me and said how I told him short nails. I said yes I want shorter nails but I still want a tip so I have some type of length?! Also when I went in I also needed my old acrylics removed on a couple nails that I couldn’t get off. When he was cutting the nails that had the acrylic, he cut way to far and cut my nail bed. I think my nail started to bleed because he squeezed my thumb for about a minute. Not to mention I had to keep saying “owe” to get him to stop filing where it was bleeding from cutting it short. NOT EVEN A WEEK. After i got my nails done 2 of them completely fell off and the others were already lifting! My friend nails were doing the same thing. We called to get our money back because nails coming off not even a week later sounds ridiculous right? They told us no we couldn’t get a refund and they never offered to redo the nails that had fallen off either. They knew who we were because I’m sure they don’t have too many white and black friends with 3 new born babies coming in together very often so they knew we had just gotten our nails done as well. And our kids slept the whole time so it’s not like they were mad they had 3 crying babies to listen to or anything like that either. Also with us my friend and I just having babies, she had twins and I had my daughter, we don’t get a lot of “me time” or time to treat ourselves. The older guy made a comment about my previous acrylics and said “what’s the point of getting your nails done if you don’t bother to do the fills” my friend looked mad and said “it’s called treating yourself which you don’t get to do very often with babies.” This was the first time my friend and I got to see each other in a long time since she moved almost 2 hours away and we wanted to have a nice time, get our nails done and so on and honestly we wish we never would have went there. It hasn’t even been 2 weeks and all of her nails came off except her thumb and I’m missing 4 nails and the rest are so lifted so bad I’m going to have to take them off. Also I’m not sure if this matters but they didn’t cut our actual nails. The only nails they cut were mine with the couple of acrylics I had on. All her nails were never cut and the rest of my nails were never cut before applying the tip. Overall I will NOT be going back.

What makes me mad is that they can't do anything but put polish on top of acrylics. Omg I asked for snow flakes. N the guy said to hard I have someone else do for you. Ummm has he seen a snowflake. 2weeks n my paint is chipping off. Not even a week after and my gems fall off. Just really pisses me off. We are tight with money RN. But mom wanted to do something for me for my birthday. really wish we didn't waste the money. Oh and the last time I got my nails done the tech was FACETIMINING as he was doing my nails. N then turned the camera to me n made me talk to his people. Like I don't want to talk to them. They were drunk. Like come on now.

I went to Kelvin as a new customer for acrylic nails. He is a perfectionist and did a fabulous job. I've gone to numerous salons over the years but this is my best experience yet.
