Very nice salon... everyone was very professional and welcoming. Had a great experience tonight with Michaela. She made my hair look amazing. The color is beautiful. She is a true artist.

I’m not one to ever make a review and I’m truly not a “complain everywhere I go” type of customer or person. But I really feel the need to keep this real with people coming into this salon. The first time I went I got highlights and low lights and a trim. I loved it because my hair looked good, and it cost 125. I went back for that reason. I went yesterday and got my hair lightened, toned, and cut. I was there from 9:45 (which waited 25 minutes) and left at 2:30. I was absolutely shocked at the price when I got rang up. I have NEVER in over 11 years of getting my hair done, paid this much. It was $260!!!!! I was charged for things I had NO idea I was going to be charged for and truly felt totally scammed in which I’ve never felt before. My hair turned out to not even be what I wanted. I went in telling her I was tired of roots and wanted to highlight my roots. I’m a pretty passive person and she ended up not only talking me into keeping roots, but she used color to make my roots DARKER!! No joke. I also got charged for “thick hair” even though she chopped 5 inches off before starting. Again, not what I asked for and now I have a short haircut with highlights and darker roots. Looking back I think she was doing anything she could to make more money (hence the making my roots darker without telling me I was going to be charged). And I’m not exaggerating this, I can show before and after pictures of my hair and anyone would and has agreed that the cost was totally unethical. I don’t recommend this salon, and if you go, please ask what they are going to charge you for so you aren’t blindsided. I’m not even that happy with my hair. I did call and tell the manager I just couldn’t afford this. She refunded me 45 dollars, still costing me over $200

Will definitely be back! The salon is great, people are friendly and prices are reasonable. Renee is wonderful! She always listens to what I want and does an amazing job on my hair. She explains the products she uses but doesn't pressure you into purchasing them. I always feel awesome when I leave and would recommend her to anyone searching for a great hair stylist.

Update: went back in yesterday for an appointment, and upon checking in, found out the stylist I had scheduled with was no longer with the company. They had changed my appointment time and changed who would doing my hair without ever calling me and discussing it with me. I decided to keep the appointment, and while I had nice cut and color with Renee, found out it was quite a difference in price from the last few times I had been in for the same services. I talked with the manager the following day, who listened to my complaints and refunded the difference from what I had been paying and apologized for the lack of communication. I'm overall happy with how this has turned out and applaud Whitney the manager and Renee for handling the situation professionally.
Let me begin by saying that I am terrified of new people cutting my hair. So when I finally settled on Z Studio, I had high expectations. Gina reassured me when I booked my appointment, and was able to get me in the very next day. She took great care to discuss what was best for my hair and walk me though how she was cutting it and why. Needles to say, she spent a good 2 hours giving my locks a deep conditioning treatment, an awesome blow out, and a lovely cut! I love my look! Will definitely be seeing Gina again in the future, she knows what's up!

I am truly saddened at the results. This was my first time ever coloring my hair and I wanted it done right and so, I thought to go to a professional place to have it done by professionals. I had sought out many other hair salons but decided to go to Z Studios because of all the amazing reviews. Unfortunately, Z Studios is overrated. I did not receive high quality service, and I do not believe I received what I had paid for ($240+) nor did i receive a refund. My hair was extremely patchy and uneven to the point I had to get it fixed elsewhere!!! I am shocked how this level of service is okay. My hair was completely botched. I will not be going to Z Studios anymore nor will I recommend them to anyone. AVOID AT ALL COST.
