Do not get your nails done here! Two days before my friends wedding they cut her ring finger. I understand that mistakes happen, but management did nothing about the situation. She said she cares about her customers yet she still made her pay for her nails! Not to mention the pedicure was terrible. There was nail polish still on my skin and the color wasn’t even, it was much darker on half and light on the other. Everything seemed rushed from the second we walked in the door, and we made an appointment a day prior to our arrival. They need to slow down and pay attention to what they are doing, instead of hurting their clients and doing a crappy job as fast as they can and on to the next one!

I was from out of town and I asked around on where to get my nails done. I was recommended this place from a couple of friends. I got seated right away as I got there. My mani was done really fast and it was good quality. It was cheaper than back home in Virginia. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because my nail tech did not interact with me at all. We barely had conversation. Almost 4 weeks later, I'm back in Virginia and the nail polish (gel) is still on my nails in great shape!

I used to be a long time regular here. Some of the technicians are great! However, the new management is not great. The customer service has gone down hill. All they care about now is selling you on additional services and upgrades. When you don’t want one, they just want to get you out as fast as possible to get the next person in the chair. I’ve since switched to Agelok across the street and am MUCH happier.

I decided to try Tipsy Nails after a long term relationship with another nail salon started going sour. What I like to remind people of is this is a service industry. You ask for what you want, you get what you want, you pay for what you want. These ladies are also human. I love having my nails done by Susan but there are other great ladies there too. My nails always look nice. If there is something that didn’t come out how I wanted it to, they are happy to fix it. I have had anything that really needed fixing but if I had an idea that i thought was cute and it really wasn’t they will help me make it look better! The staff responds well to your needs and my experience is always a good one.

Kay is an outstanding manicurist. Works hard and tends to details well. Very nice personality and nice to speak with. I'll be asking for her next time I'm in!
