I am taking the time to write this review to warn others. I purchased a wig from K Discount Beauty-Barber Supply that was infested with lice eggs. I noticed it when I opened it and immediately took it to better lighting and a magnified lens. I immediately placed it in a plastic bag and took it back to the K Discount Beauty-Barber Supply. I was denied a refund, the young Asian woman was rude, dismissive, and patronizing. The price of the wig was around $90.00 as it was human hair. The woman told me that I would have to contact the manufacturer. The lesson for me it that I should not ever patronize this establishment again. Black consumers do not have to give their money to individuals that have no regard for them. They take your money and grow their communities. There is no evidence of K-Discount Beauty-Barber Supply doing anything for the Black Community yet they take our money hand over fist with no community responsibility. I'm done with them and you should be also. Send a message, their are other places to spend you money where you will be respected as a customer. This was a wake-up call for me. I was headed out of town and needed something in a hurry. No rush is worth subjecting yourself to bad sales practices, smug attitudes, and blatant disregard for a community that is putting food on your table and sending your children to college. ENOUGH, HAVE SOME SELF RESPECT!

Prices are high and they walk around following you or spying on you. If you're Black you know what I mean. Rather spend my money somewhere with no harassment and cheaper prices.

Family owned operation from what I can tell. The isles are marked relatively vaguely, but they are marked. The store tends to keep brand stuff together which is great, but each time I go in (once every few months) my shampoo is in a slightly different place in the hair care isles. Selection in store is really impressive.

DO NOT GO THERE! THEY WILL FOLLOW U AROUND LIKE U ARE A CRIMINAL! I took my mom here to shop for a wig after her chemo caused hair loss. This korean lady followed us around every second. My mom felt uncomfortable trying on a wig while that lady was watching her. I said momma let's go somewhere else. And we are WHITE. I stopped these 2 black ladies coming in & asked them "do they follow u around too?" She said "Yes maam the korean own shops do. I thought it was bc I'm black". I said "na they followed us around too ". Disrespectful rude asian lady. I wonder if they would treat Asians like that if they shopped there. If you have cameras & alarms all in your store like this place does, WHY do you need to follow the customers around? It's rude. 👎
