I’ve met the owner before when she just opened the store and was at a smaller location. She was knowledgeable and friendly. I haven’t been able to shop inside the store too much because I go solely for specific natural hair products from brands they don’t often carry but I like to support anyway because it’s a black owned business. I’ve only been to the new location less than 4x. The first time I came the attendant was nice but whoever they have hired for the front since I’ve returned in the past 2 months...not a fan. She didnt speak when I came in the last time (mind you, the space is small, we were the only two people in there) but I still purchased a few items as planned and left. Periodically I’ll get coupon emails as I’m signed up for the rewards program so I figured I’d stop by today after work and pick up some shampoo. I wasn’t the only customer in the store but as soon as the other customer left she still didn’t speak and I was in there for maybe 5 minutes before she looked up from playing videos loudly on her phone to say only “ma’am we’re closing soon”. No follow up with “did you need help?” or anything. I just got frustrated and put my things back and walked out. My coupon was eligible if I spent $25 or more and though I only needed shampoo I was willing to spend more because it’s rare to find black owned natural hair stores and I want to support my community but today was kind of the nail in the coffin, customer service is lacking. My bad for coming into the store as it was about to close but two encounters of non interaction like this was enough for me.

I purchased a wig from the location on last Wednesday. Once I got home tried the wig on and it didn’t fit like I wanted it to. Return to the store on Friday to return the wig. The lady there informed me I need to come back when the person who sold me the wig , she comes in at 3. So I return after 3 to do a return. The lady ask me what the owner said about the return I informed her she said I had to see you since I purchased it from you. The lady didn’t wanna give me my money back just a credit. (There receipt has no return or exchange policy on it ) So I wanted to get her mink lashes. So I return yesterday to do the exchange. Walk-in and no greeting and said hello to the lady and said oh you doing another wig. Still no acknowledgement. As I stand at the register the lady said you can leave , didn’t realize she was speaking to me since she was on the phone (FaceTime) with her boss. Then she wrapped up her call and said you can leave it. I had to ask for a small bag to put the mink lashes in. Very unprofessional when it came time for me to get my money back and very unpleasant. Will be submitting a complaint on the Secretary of Board website.

Found my new beauty supply spot! Great customer service, personable and professional. Nicki was amazing and sincere! When I entered the location she greeted me and assisted me with finding the perfect look for my big interview! Thanks so much for you help, I'm sure I gave you plenty of laughs that day!

I have been coming to this shop for years. Love them! Great products. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great prices and all around great service! If she doesn't have what your looking for, she will get it for you. I highly recommend this shop!

I love the beauty supply store. They are always so helpful and polite. They are also very knowledgeable about the most up to date products. And if you are looking for a product that they don't carry they will order if for you. And they offer suggestions on your look as well. This is the only place a shop now. I love this place.
