Ms. Ford Has a terrible attitude people like her need to be reported your not professional, I'm sure this is not her 1st complaint! check your attitude before clocking into work better yet call on jesus cause he cant be present in your life clearly your unhappy!

This need to be addressed and corrected, African Hair Braiding it's more like a culture to us,they is no school that will teach us that. This is clear that the state of Alabama does not surport citizens who are not born in USA and it's wrong. This is absolutely negligence towards foreign citizens. All African women grow up as little girls braiding hair, we advise African Hair Braiding what we grew up doing and people like our technic of how we braiding hair. It need to be corrected and give people license so that there income is reported and pay taxes. Than to make it hard on people have them work under the table and still qualify in welfare. All these african women working in shops do not have license only the owner have because they were given on grandfathered in program. This is absolutely wrong and negligence. It clear that state of Alabama don't support citizens who are born elsewhere, for them to tell that women to go flip burgers or she should go back to African, I think that was absolutely rude and disrespectful.

State of Alabama does not support citizens that are born outside the USA. Africa hair braiding is not something that Africans go to school for, all african women grow up as little girls braiding hair and they is no school or hairstylist here in USA can teach African hair braiding, they teach natural hairstylist which is completely 2 different things from african hair braiding. For them to say we Africans have to go to school in order to get a hair braiding license and have to have 10th grade of education or GED, it is a statement of negligence towards citizens who are born elsewhere. Some of these african countries people never go to school, all the know is to Braid hair. When I called Alabama Board of cosmetology the women I spoke to she wasn't even interested to hear what I have to say else she told me that I should go flip burgers or go back to Africa. What it means is that there pushing out foreign citizens out of the state of Alabama and support people to live of welfare. No wonder why some of these african American people don't bother to work and just live of government assistance. You will think they will be more supporting in people to work, pay taxes and support themselves without having to live of welfare. It's ridiculous, 100% negligence and wrong. All these african women working in all these shops in Alabama do not have license, only some owners have it because they were given on grandfathered in program. This means there ok with people to work under the table and not pay taxes and still qualify in welfare as unemployed. Than to allow people to do the right thing by work, pay taxes and have to not go on welfare. We advertise African hair braiding that we do in Africa not natural hairstylist. Dominicans and African American do natural hairstylist in transforming natural black people's hair in straightening and styling it. African hair braiding is a cultural thing that drews people attention to our technique of braiding hair. No school here in USA teach African hair braiding.This is absolutely wrong and negligence towards citizens who are born in Africa. Need to be addressed and corrected.

I started school in September of 2016. Everything was going great smoothly until we switched program directors. To Mrs brown. Within the cosmetology department there is now signs of unprofessionalism, disrespect and bullying or picking. I went through the chains of commands starting with the academic dean, but since he is friends with the director and comes in the salon and receives free services only from one particular student. We had a conference with her and my parents and it just caused more conflict because she blamed me and was basically like forget the main reason why your here, your daughter has a nasty attitude. While that was going on another teacher was being rude, not helping us and having to chase her down to get a grade. We had a sub come in as our new instructor and they mistreated her by talking rude to her, she couldn't teach her class without rudely being interrupted. On the salon floor she had no authority over us, had to ask the other instructors for permission to get any products out the supply closet. Telling us that she doesn't leave us work when she's absent etc. We don't have the products that we need to. They water down all the products down. They mistreat the new instructor, by talking to her rudely and disrespectfully. I have to record them because of one comment that the instructor told me saying "think of the hair as my face and slice it up with the razor." I have went to the dean with no resolution. The rude comments that has been said to me and everyone is jus to much. Monday, Mrs brown tells us '"this is why some of yall don't leave with your parents. " We have invested 21,000 dollars in this program all to hear" Yall can pick another school, you don't have to be here or go here. " when we ask about our times it comes with attitude or our grades. It's a lot more going on I tried to sum it up.
