Poor, poor, poor. Went in for pedicure and the young lady spent more time reading the instructions than working on my feet. I'm not blaming the young lady, it's obvious she had little to zero training and when the supervisor came by all she did was complain about a mess someone made at another station. Absolutely NO quality control. A waste of time and money.

I used to recommend this salon. However since changing hours they never seem to have someone available for my hours. I liked being able to come in on a Saturday. Show up at 4 pm on a Tuesday and nothing available. Need to take down Walk Ins Welcome sign.

Former student I went to Pinnacle for 4 or 5 months out of the year I was supposed because I had had enough! I wasted so much time and money st this school. Its almost $20,000 to attend and you could honestly learn more from watching youtube than you can this school! They are so unprofessional! All the instructors mess around and are more drama than the students. I know people that went there 8 years ago and some of the same instructors were there and they said the same thing. They do not teach you a thing and are extremely rude and expect you just to know it and just go goof off. They show you something once or twice then just give you a client to "practice" on. None of us students had any confidence and were scared to death when being put onto the floor to service clients. The instructors were there to "supervise and help" but they would only check on you after you had to keep bothering them to and then they would just walk away again. A haircut that shoud take 20 minutes would take 2 hours because everytime you cut one piece they would walk away and you would have to wait for them to come back. Also they would let students perform color, perms, and relaxers on clients when they have never even learned them yet!!!! They have left clients with some messed up hair and chemical burns. My classmates and I were always nervous around clients and it was very obvious and made the client uncomfortable and also nervous. I could go on and on about the negatives about this school. But bottom line is they are very unprofessional and they do not correctly teach students. After seeing what I've seen at that school i would never ever be a customer and never recommend it to anyone. If your a possible future student dont make the mistake i did and please go to another school and if your a future client please never come here. I can promise your experience will be terrible and you will leave hating whetever service you got! Not trying to be ugly, just trying to spare some people from this place.

I've been getting my hair done at this school for about 5 years. I am so please with the service and welcoming environment.

Keeping in mind that this is a school and everyone is refining their skills, so it probably wouldn't be a perfect experience, I went here with realistic expectations, and ended up having an absolute nightmare of an experience, while my mom has been going here for years and always has the best results. I went in to get a beach wave perm before a wedding, and the girl who did my hair said she'd only ever done a couple perms. A teacher/instructor came over and directed her on what to do, and then left. I was there 6 hours, during which she used too much of the perm product/chemical and proceeded to give me a tight 90's spiral perm. She left halfway through without finishing, and an instructor finished my hair, not telling me that the perm had literally FRIED OFF an inch-wide line of hair from my forehead to the back, which she didn't tell me about, and quickly and quietly got someone else to clean up the rollers covered in my hair. Beyond unprofessional, I was devastated. Not only did I leave with a spiral perm that turned into a literal afro by the time I got home, but my scalp was covered in raw blisters (a bad reaction to the multiple boxes of perm chemicals) and I had a bald line running the length of my scalp. Within a week I was having heavy hair loss and I did my best to deep condition to repair the horrible damage. If you're looking for a basic cut or color, this might be a great place, but for anything more in depth than that, save yourself the frustration, money and disappointment, and go somewhere where they know what they're doing. I'll never step foot in there again, and I can't believe the instructors hush and cover up the mistakes made, instead of helping students learn from them. Good luck, Pinnacle.
