Great service, good selection of colors and their prices are reasonable. I think my nails hold up better then other nail spas. The ladies are super nice as well.

Very nice, but I’m not sure about the results. I wasn’t told anything what to do, and it was my first manicure. The polish didn’t dry for HOURS and was very thick and cheap looking. they look like my 10 year old painted them.

Like our skin, our nails are porous, absorbing chemicals and compounds right into them. Each time acrylic nails are applied, women are exposed to the chemicals put directly on the nail beds and skin, as are other women in the spa. Acrylic nails contain harmful chemicals banned for us by the FAA in 1970 (but spas still use them as it is unregulated) that enter your blood stream every time you have your nails done. These chemicals, such as formaldehyde and the resin used to apply acrylic nails, have been linked to cancer. Women who apply acrylic nails on a regular basis can be at risk of significant exposure to these dangerous chemicals. Why does a place that calls itself pure nails use acrylic nails?

I got gel manicure by appointment. Kate was attentive in asking questions on how I want my nails done. Very happy with the results.
