I was recommended to come to Gloss by a friend. I loved the environment of Gloss. It’s beautiful inside. I made an appointment, though, several days before. When I walked in I had to wait 15 min for my first treatment, and another 20 for my second treatments. Essentially, I was just another walk in, even though I took the time to make an appointment. Including wait time, I was at the salon for 2.5 hours, and almost 1 hour of that was waiting. If you aren’t going to honor appointments, don’t say you take appointments. It’s all about managing expectations.
When I left, I was quite satisfied with my nails. I got a dip manicure, and they were so well done!! However, last night, a mere 4 days later, I noticed a chip on one of my fingers. This is extremely disappointing, since they said a dip manicure would last 3 weeks. 4 days is way less than 3 weeks. I’m definitely disappointed, and will have to consider whether or not I use them again.

As I man, I do not frequently publicize the fact that I have come to love what my fiancé seems to have the need for bi-weekly.....pedicures.
Driving her back from the doctor in Memphis, we stopped in Gloss, and both she and I agree, ABSOLUTE best pedicure/hot stone/ hand leg and foot massage we have ever received. Rachel and Cynthia... ASK FOR THEM. That’s all I will say. Happy couple and very happy feet

Sydney gave me a fantastic Manicure! I stopped by randomly to try out Gloss Nail Bar on Highland on a Friday at 5 p.m. I didn't have a reservation. It was a 5 minute wait. Tons of polishes to choose from. The staff were very professional and friendly. My Mani looks amazing and I've had tons of compliments on it. Great value and quality service. I'll definitely come back!

It’s unfortunate that I have to post this review but I feel they have given me no choice. I’ve given them ample opportunity to make this right with me. I made an appointment on Sunday to get my nails done with Nancy on Monday at 11:00 am. When I arrive to the nail salon they tell me that Nancy is out sick. I’m clearly not happy that I drove up there and wasted my time to be told that she was out sick. Someone should have called me to inform me so that I wouldn’t have to waste my gas/time for ,”I’m sorry that nobody called you”. I called twice yesterday trying to speak to a manager/owner. I am disgruntled with how everything is being handled. I was told twice that someone would call me back to talk to me. No one ever did. This place unfortunately doesn’t seem to care about their customers. I used to be a regular at the concourse location, but with the way this situation has been handled I will not be back. ☹️

After going to other nail shops and not getting what I wanted this was a wonderful experience
