I am traveling fir work in Albany. I didnt have time to get my nails done before I left home. I called Regal nails to make sure they offered the dip nails. They said yes so I made my appointment.
I shoukd have walked out when I saw how filthy the salon was but I wanted to give them the benefit of tge doubt. The manicurist that I was set up with did not know what she was doing. I asked her multiple times not to make my nails too thick but she continued to ignore my request. Then she began arguing with another manucurist in the salon in a foreign language that went on for about 20 minutes. I asked several times to stop the service and remove the globs of dip from my nails so I coukd go somewhere elsecto get them done the right way. They woukd not stop and insisted I pay for a service that I was not happy with. 50 dollars andv2 hours later I left very unhappy.

Whenever I come to Albany and nees my nails done I head over to Walmart and visit Regal Nails. My feet was done by Cindy. She is very thorough and has great hands to massage. My feet feel like butter. My nails were done by Jackie. He is the very best
He got rid of a lot of old acrylic that wasn't cute. He knew just what I meant when I said I don't like the shape of the fill at the cuticle line. Absolutely perfect. Go see thia crew. They know their customers well and are super friendly.

Price for food not cool. 10. Bucks for 6 oyster which was soggy. They have a all u can eat Tuesday/Saturday no one knows unless u ask.

UPDATE: I FOUND OUT THIS SALON LIED TO ME. charged me $40 for a "gel overlay". I went to another shop to get them redone and they told me I had an ACRYLIC overlay and was fooled smh.
INITIAL REVIEW. Minus 1 star for sloppiness. 4 stars because I was greeted immediately, my nails are cute and I was serviced IMMEDIATELY, not wait (645pm on a Thursday). My nails are cute from the top but if you look underneath it looks like a toddler did them. My nail tech Kim was very sweet and she took her time, but I did have to correct her on shaping a few times. I got a gel overlay ($40) and most of my nails were pretty long but 2 were shorter because they broke a couple days before. I wanted to keep my length but because of shaping and correcting I left out with short nails. I had been growing my nails for like 2 months and now my nails barely come over my finger. But I'm sure they will grow...no problem. I will likely go back because they stay open late and are located at Walmart, plus although the underneath is a hot mess, my nails look natural and pretty.

Absolute worst customer service and quality ever. I have been to NUMEROUS nail salons across the southeast and have never been to one with this type of poor service. I will NEVER go here again because this is my third time trying them out and each time was worse than the previous time. Some of the staff is extremely unprofessional and the pedicures are done very poorly, NO leg message at all! Without saying much more, I will end by saying if you're considering going here and you wish to have great customer service and a great finished product, I recommend you continue looking because this IS NOT the place!
