I just moved in in May and I regret signing the lease. I have been lied to by the management. By the way, the first review is pure bs. The service here can best be described as avoidance behavior. I am currently dealing with idiots parking in my covered parking

Me and my husband will be moving here shortly the reviews about thieves does worry me a bit but I hope the thieves know that deadly force is legal if you are breaking into my car or home and I catch you doing it. I have a little girl to protect and I will be installing a camra system around my front and back doors. It would be helpful if the people who got robbed could tell us where there unit was because only someone around that unit is the robber to be knowing your every move. On the good side I love the place the grounds are beautiful and the staff is so nice and helpful and I can't wait to be part of this community and possibly help make it better if I catch the bad guys

Recently worked for Avondale apartments and was asking Questions about residents that moved out and left personal belongings.
I brought to the attention of the maintenance supervisor Carlos and I asked him why they are taking resident belongings out of the apartment and storing them in appliance storage area. From my experience you should leave resident personal belongings in the apartment when they move out until they come back to claim their personal property.
It was very expensive recording music equipment and expensive. Plus is it ironic that as soon as I start asking questions about the maintenance supervisor actions selling these items for profit. Also the maintenance supervisor Carlos owns rental , property and as an employee I brought to his attention why is their soo many Hispanic men coming in trucks leaving the property with washers ,dryers ,ovens and dish washers also fridges.who is making money off of this illegal activity?!..
I also brought it to the manager Deanna’s attention and a week later I was fired for bad attitude and behavior?....
98% of all residents will tell you I was great at my maintenance job I care about the resident s and would never steal from the property/AMC Company.
Please be aware before you move in at Avondale apartment homes.
So when they terminated my employment for asking too many questions, I asked for management to show me proof of disciplinary warnings of my accusations and they refused to give or show me proof of These accusations.
I have pictures that show my questions and recorded video showing my concerns about shady acts within the supervisor and management staff are valid to question .
But not even Human Resources are concerned about what my findings show.
You would think that a company like AMC would want to know if someone was stealing from the property Avondale for the supervisors own personal rental properties.!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was literally Charged $210 for being 1 day late for rent ! This place will absolutely rip you off. Make sure you read what you sign. My fire place doesn't even work and I was told I needed to call maintenance everytime I would like my fireplace on. It only stays on for 10 min at a time and they wont repair it. They would rather have me call every 10 min. Front office managers are the rudest I've ever had to deal with and I've lived in apartments for 10 years. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!!
