Yesterday I came to Magic Nails for the very first time. Let me just say it was late in the evening and I was flipping out because I broke a nail. The owners of Magic Nails literally stayed over an hour after they closed to service me. They did not rush and I also got an amazing pedicure. They did not try to upsale services and when I asked them questions they gave me honest answers. My nails and toes look so good. After years and years I think I have finally found my nail salon!

Yesterday I took my 3 year old step daughter to get her nails painted because it was just to dang hot to do anything outside. I've been to this salon over ten times. I have only had a few good experiences here, but I had to look like I had money before anyone would even take me serious. The nail tech who was doing my stepdaughters nails were frustrated. Idk WHY because my step daughter was very still for the most part. She even asked what age she was as if she was impressed.The owner kept asking me not to waste my money as if money was an issue. I just assured him that I would not be an irrate customer and that it does not have to be perfect because I'm just here for quality time with my stepdaughter. After getting her situated I then proceeded to get a pedicure. When I sat down, the fact that they picked and snickered in their language as soon as I sat down was so uncomfortable. The customer sitting next to me was complaining about the water temperature and she was uncomfortable too. Almost every customer complains about their water temperature when I'm there. The same lady that did my daughter's nails had an attitude with the other lady stating "you said it was cold I made it hot, now you saying it's too hot?" The customer then said," Yes I'm stating that its too hot and too cold, can we find a middle??" They strive for perfection here which is a good thing, but it can also turn your customers away. Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese people will not be the only salon's here soon. Other ethnicities will climb the chart.Fight for your clients and Do not take everything so personal.

I dropped my mother off here for medi / pedi and results were not to the standards she had recieved in past at other establishments. I had to pick her up in a hurry and did not have time to inspect. I called and complained, Justin(?) apologized and said if I'd bring her back, they'd make it right. I did, and they did. She was very satisfied and they (nails) looked great ... Not every customer service is going to end as expected but when you can voice your dissatisfaction and be treated like a human customer, is refreshing.
