Unforgettable wonderful experience. Such a nice place to visit. The beach was really nice. The downtown was so clean and live music on the roads were so pleasure. The shops were nice to shop. Never miss to have a nice walk in the night. The restaurants are also affordable and you get good food.

It has been awhile since we have been down to the 3rd Street Promenade. There were several new stores but our overall experience was horrible. It started at the parking garage which the stairs were filled with urine and feces. Absolutely disgusting! Then as soon as we hit the Promenade we were accosted by the homeless men who were overly aggressive. They literally followed us and demanded money, borderline robbery. There were several police officers but it seemed the homeless were allowed to assault the tourists at will. We went to the pier and saw several pick pocket type people which were very sketchy. Hate to say this but Santa Monica has become like Venice beach. Homeless and marijuana everywhere. Stay away, stay far away...

Great place to relax on a weekend or a hot day. It is a touristy place so expect it to be packed but there's good restaurants and a lot of stores. Traffic could be hectic but I think everyone will like it.

With great weather and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and movie theaters, this is an outdoor shopping center that is hard to beat. They have dedicated ambassadors to help visitors find their way around, one of them even offered to hold an umbrella for me until I got under cover during a rare rain storm. It's a great place to shop, eat, or just hang out, enjoy the weather, and watch the people go by. Parking can be expensive so using public transportation can be a good option for getting here. The Metro Expo station is just a block away.

Very nice area. Amazing beach and the sunsets here are gorgeous. Lots of cute shops and good food. I can't wait to go back.
