Amazing hair salon , they really take the time to care and treat your hair. Recommend to everyone who's interested. They did my girlfriend's hair perfect.

I went here for the first time in Oct and walked out with the worst haircut ever.
I saw Jennifer, who made the absolute most basic mistake a hair stylist can do; didn’t follow what we discussed about length, and she cut is soooo short that I can’t do anything, I wanted it below my shoulder and she cut a bob.
The reason I say it’s the worst haircut is my hair is fine, naturally black without whites, so I don’t color. But also my hair is very easy - it does whatever I want it to do, flows easily, falls beautifully and it’s so low maintenance.
After having my second baby in two years, my hair has been through a lot; beautiful luscious hair to all the postpartum hair loss... I was finally starting to feel better and just wanted to freshen up my look. I walked out feeling horrible. She cut is so short that I can’t even tie it but even worse she didn’t style it at all. She was sweet but this was a bad, suburb Mall level haircut. Her demeaning “how to blow dry my hair” conversation didn’t do much either. Not be rude but I have a triple degree from Harvard, I’m not ok with someone patronizing to me. It made me look older and did nothing for my face. It was completely flat...and again, the length was so short that I can’t even style to make up for it.
Fortunately my sister in law, a top hairdresser form Toronto was able to fix it, gave it a youthful style...while telling me what a horrible job the previous person had done...was a bad cut, period.
I made sure to discuss upfront with Jennifer what I wanted, what I do to my hair, how it usually looks...she started to cut it from the back, without checking again about the length...the second she did the first cut I knew it was a disaster.
It was actually a complete disaster.

I got my hair colored today by Nina. I have thick and dark Asian hair and Nina was able to get it super light and turn me into a modern day grandma! No breakage and I have received so many compliments already! I may have finally found my colorist in NY! I no longer have to get my hair done in NY anymore.

I come to see Tamara (she specializes in blondes) and she has been so incredible at keeping my hair healthy throughout it’s many color phases. She is so friendly and honest- and also very professional. All of the staff are energetic, hospitable, and attentive. They offer many flavors of water and other refreshments and I have had incredible blowouts from many people here including Julian, Eddie, and a few others. I imagine everyone is excellent (as I’ve loved every blowout) and I always leave feeling not only happy about my hair but also uplifted and rejuvenated.

I went here for the first time yesterday, had an appointment with Jennifer. She was very sweet but unfortunately this was the worst haircut of my life, two reasons; she cut it extremely short even after we discussed the length and she started from the back, so once she chopped that, I know the length was pretty much set in stone... the second reason she couldn’t cut the front fresh enough to make up for it. Actually there isn’t any style, just straight up short...no different than a $50 haircut at a mall in some suburbs.
Now it’s so short that I can’t even style it without further comprising the lack of length.
My hair is black and I don’t color so I rely heavily on a good cut, I usually give it waves, etc but can’t do that right now.
Too short and completely outdated.
