I had a GREAT experience at My Day Nails Spa. My friend and I came here and were helped right away. Stephanie did a perfect job on my nails, and helped me pick a color. I would highly recommend visiting!

I’ve been coming here for about two years now. Love how they use hot stones during the pedicure and they never seem to rush the service. Prices are reasonable and posted on the wall so no surprises when it comes time to pay. They have a great color selection. There is rarely a long wait and they try to accommodate everyone even if they didn’t have an appointment. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my nails! They prefer cash only tips but if you’re in a bind they’ll do it on the card.

I recently moved to Michigan from Miami less than a month ago. So, I needed a new nail spot. It was the day before my WEDDING, I found this place on yelp. Decided to give it a try based off the reviews and location. I called before hand to ask if they have time to do 6 girls (mother, aunt, cousin, and sisters). They told me to come in that there will be no problem. We arrive, everything went smooth until the only man in the place didn't want to give my sister what she was asking for. She wanted her nails shorter and more narrow, instead he slammed his desk drawl, my sister being 8 months prego began crying. He was the most arrogant person I've ever seen. In the meantime I was with a lady, apparently she was the manager, I voiced my concern about how I want my nails, she went on telling me to do powder and than gel over the powder (keep in mind I got acrylic), so I was confused why she's adding powder when I'm going to put gel, she told me I needed the powder. I let it be until I got my bill $100 , I never ever in my life ever spent $100 on nails. I asked her to break down my bill, she charged me $30 for the extra powder I DID NOT NEED and told her I knew I didn't need it but she was so convinced that it was necessary. The "manager" began to raise her voice at my and my family stating that we're crazy. Y'all, I was so livid. My sister asked her to speak to the owner she told us the owner is not in town, we kept insisting she give us a number where we can voice our problems she raised her voice at us to get out, to shut us up she gave us a false number to contact. I then told her I want a refund because of the customer service she said, okay I'm going to take off your nails. It was just terrible, everything about this place was terrible, horrible. It's 3 days later and my acrylics are coming off by themselves. I never experienced this before. DO NOT GO HERE, they will treat you like mud.

Good selection of nail services including non UV shellac and dozens of gel colors. Very nice technicians and the decor is beautiful, comfortable and clean.

I have been coming here for years but unfortunately as of Thursday they have lost my business. I was there on Saturday and had a shellac manicure done. By Tuesday two nails had chipped and by Wednesday 4 nails were chipped. $30 + tip is too expensive of a price to have your nails ruined after only a couple of days. This time I saw someone I had never seen before and my polish did not hold up. So on Thursday morning I went in to the salon and the lady that I had seen on Saturday asked how she could be help me. I let her know that a few of my nails had already chipped so I would like them fixed. She insisted that she didn't remember me. She had me sit down to "fix" my nails even though she kept saying "no...I don't think you were here..this Saturday? No...I can't remember you" Then she proceeded to say "You must have done something...see my nail? mine lasts 2-3 weeks". I responded and said "yes, mine normally do to but this time they didn't..." She was extremely rough and did a HORRIBLE job. Unfortunately it was only her and one other woman working Thursday morning. I wish google would allow me to post the pictures from after she "fixed" my nails...the ends were filed so jagged and she was sloppy, leaving polish on my fingers. To be honest, it seems that most of the people employed here in the last year or so are less than great :(
