Do not come here. Unprofessional, unsanitary and poor value. The woman who did my gel manicure had me “soak” and wait 15 minutes while she left my station to tend to someone else. By the time she got back to me, my fingers were pruny. She did not wash her hands after leaving the other client. Gel easily chipped off on all fingers after just one week. I went in there to explain that I’ve never had an issue with the gel chipping so quickly and so easily. This woman would not even look up as I’m talking to her and kept cutting me off as I attempted to calmly express my concerns. She said she would not do anything for me. She wasn’t gentle with my nails and I bled. I gave this place a fair chance and left super disappointed.

Save your money and find a nail tech on Facebook. I came all the time back when the staff cared. Star nails is low quality work with high quality pricing. The staff doesn’t even care about the bad reviews or their service, easily comparable to the staff at the McDonalds across the street, easily one of the worst places to give your business but it’s convenient and well they got ya there.

Only place I will go to get my nails and toes done(been going there for 5+ years).. they are nice and good service, good quality acrylic nails that last a long time, because they do it right!(Ask for "Sye" he is the best when it comes to acrylic nails, shaping and design and everything else!)Even though sometimes I have waited quite a bit in the lobby, I will always wait on them, because they are the best place for the price they charge!! They also do great eyebrows! Love love 🌟 star nails!!

Honestly I used to love this place but now I will NEVER be back. I came in at 6 pm on Friday and only came in to get two nails fixed. I did not mind the wait as I know they are always packed. But I was highly upset when a white woman came in at 7:15 saying she had a 7'o clock appointment and got serviced before me. Now I understand how appointments work -- but if the client is late and a walk-in came first I believe at that point it is first come first serve. Not to mention I had been waiting for over an hour with somewhere to be. At this point I'm going to nail tech school to learn how to do nails on my own. Black people give too much to companies who could care less about giving us the proper customer service that they give their other clients.

I love going to see Cindy when I need to touch up my eyebrows. Only thing is you have to go early.
