No one spoke as we entered the establishment. Not friendly. No clean towels
I had a paper towel at my chair to dry my feet, and mean "a paper towel". Not a good selection of polish. I saw hair in the womans foot bowl surrounding the drain in the next chair. My feet are not the cutest but I've definitely seen worse in a nail shop. The woman acted like she didn't want to touch my feet. My service was the worse. I don't think that establishment is used to seeing dark skin Black women. Everyone else was coddled and treated carefully except me. I asked clear questions that went unanswered and had to be addressed later because unlike the young woman next to me, I wanted something specific. I didn't let her do whatever she wanted. I definitely noticed it was an issue because I didn't accept her freestyle. Not when I'm paying.
And the only difference between all of us is that I was the only dark skin Black American
in the place
