AS A FORMER STUDENT , HERE IS A KIND SUGGESTION: Please use your well earned money and put it towards a more deserving school. Read the other reviews and let the comments speak for themselves. Take the other reviews VERY seriously.. trust me. Make the best decision for your education and your future...don't waste your time/money. Hopefully down the road they will have updated equipment and a more respectful staff instead of focusing so hard on trying to get you to delete your honest reviews / opinions. :)

After attending this school I feel it is an absolute necessity to voice my opinion about my disappointments of this school. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for! They do not teach you all you need to know to go out to work. Example of these are, no microdermabrasion, no body waxing, nothing on laser technology, lack of updated equipment (most are not working), insufficient products to practice facials and lack of people to practice on. After graduation, every interview I went on was horrible because of the lack of preparation I needed to have to be hired. Their entire operation is very disorganized and at times, very unprofessional. Be prepared to pay for all these extra seminars and courses. Their whole program needs a major overhaul.

Please research this school before you enroll. The experience is dreadful. You don’t learn anything, although they will have you believe otherwise. The only way you will learn anything is to take a private class which you have to pay for on top of the schools tuition and the classes are not reasonably priced. 90% of staff and teachers are rude and speak to you as if you’re a child. They are bullies and make up new rules at a whim so they have a reason to sign you out of class, which prolongs your time to graduate. Prolonging your time means more money for them. Save your time, your peace of mind and your money. Go to another institute that takes your career as serious as you do.

This school should be closed upon further review from the board. The instructors there are horrible, they dont teach minus freshman Barber instructor. After my 450 hrs. I learned nothing at all. My study habits and prior knowledge of cosmetology carried me through the coarse. Its all female instructors and the govern off feelings and emotions. Nothing is consistent. No curriculum at all. Please visit another school. Pay the extra money.

One word for this school DISORGANIZED
the mouth the teachers have is insane calling the students special..
the teachers do not even support the students work or beliefs.
Staff here doesn't even teach you properly and when they don't feel like teaching we learn from the students.
Teachers talking to students about other students and teachers.
There is a lot of favoritism and judgement here.
People here do what they want and other people get stepped all over like a rug.
Ms tia is my biggest problem. That woman is so nosey and gets involved in everyones business (staff and students !) but cannot do her job right. She is known for messing up hours holding people longer for money, and loosing paperwork of students. There is no such thing as staying for a year at capri institute!
Tia is so unprofessional and miserable. she conned the students here out of money telling them if they pay for a ticket for muenster cup( school event that passed) they will get hours. best believe that was a lie. that woman is so rude when she talks and anytime you go for her for anything she makes it seem like your a burden for her.
Other teachers at either dozing off sleeping or on a smoke break every hour.
I could've went to Paul Mitchel where you have better supplies and you go on trips and you have a fun experience.
This school is filled with gossip and confusion, as if that's what I got into this school for.
Do not give this school another dime
