The first time I went the lady said it was $25.00 as long as I paid cash for a gel manicure, this was on a Thursday. I went back again to the same lady on a Thursday to get another gel manicure. She said their was an extra charge to remove the gel manicure. $10.00 more? I had only brought 30.00 to pay her cash plus the tip. Of course she mentions this after she did my manicure. What salon charges to remove gel manicure? And because I didn't have enough cash I was charged $42.00. She did a wonderful job both times but they should mention the fact that they charge for gel manicure removal.

I enjoy coming here. It's clean, the staff are friendly and the work is exceptional. Complimentary bottled water/juice and free garage parking too. Jenny has been doing my nails for 4 years now. I took a break from Pinky to acquire a closer nail shop to realize you can't cut corners with customer service or details. Pinky has both! I live in DC and drive to Alexandria every 2 weeks for my appointment. That says a lot! 🤗

I went for a gel full set but my nail polish was chipping on ONE finger so I went back the next day to get that ONE finger fixed. Then I went back for a whole polish change three days later because I ate curry and had light polish so I wanted a new color. I paid and tipped. One week later I go in asking for a fill and EVERYONE in the shop acted like they couldn't do it. They insisted only the original woman who did my nails could fill. I was so upset because I went in there on two occasions looking for this mystery woman and she was never there! I even called ahead and made an appointment. I even tried to explain that I don't care who does my nails! I will support the business. They are very petty and unprofessional
