Made an appointment for 11am today and the technician still has not shown up at 11:24 am. The rude lady at the 1st table insisted on someone else doing my nails and I asked where is the lady I made the appointment with who insisted I come in at 11 am today? She gave attitude and started speaking to someone else in their language. I left and they NEVER have to worry about me returning. Too many nail salons around to have to be aggravated with pure ignorance and rudeness. What a way to start out as what I considered to be a potential new customer. IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD BECAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THIS ESTABLISHMENT GAVE ME.

Love, love, love Mondern Nails! The nail techs are excellent; and are up-to-date on current nail trends! I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

I just left modern nails and I’m very happy. Kelly is an amazing nail tech. I’m very satisfied with the service they provided. They are so very nice and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Will be coming back definitely!

This place is outstanding, I won’t go anywhere else. I get a mani/pedi every 2 weeks . Lisa is the greatest!!! 👍👍

I'm really shocked at some of the reviews left here. As another reviewer stated, nobody is perfect and we are all human. This meaning that there are good days and bad. I've been going here since I was a teenager! Many of my friends go here as well. I have never had a rude interaction with Tina. In fact, I've locked my keys in my car twice! and her husband always offered to help me in any way he could. Tina takes pride in the job that she does and recognizes when something isn't done correctly as well as her employees and her salon. She does her best to accommodate & balance. Whenever I come in, I always see happy customers. Sometimes people stop in just to say hello! They aren't lazy, they just know better than to overwhelm themselves.
She has holiday parties sometimes for her customers and if given the chance, she's very relatable. Empathy is key when working with the public so personally. I can guarantee if you don't like something and just talk nicely to her about it, she will nicely accommodate!
As far as the wait time, because Tina gets booked fairly quickly, she tries her best to provide REALISTIC expectations so people aren't waiting so long. Sometimes it happens, but it is best to make an appointment. I do both! I feel this place is relaxing and there is a tech for all types of nail personalities. I live so much further now and I still make the trip. After all, she's been in business for a LONG time, she must be doing something right!
