Okay, so I am not usually the type of person to complain and I absolutely loathe that "Customer comes first. Customer is always right" mentality. (I used to work in hospitality and I completely understand how people can get.) I am also compassionate and understanding towards employees in general.
But this is 1 experience that I am not understanding, compassionate, or okay with and I am speaking up about it.
So I came here for 2 reasons: 1. The reviews for this place were really good. 2. It's close to my house. The sign outside said "Walk-ins welcome". I didn't have an appointment and I walked in. I get asked what I wanted done. All I wanted done was a manicure. There was only 1 person getting a manicure done anyway. The lady there tells me that they have an appointment on the way who was late (which I understand) and that they cannot take me because they were busy (that was a blatant lie). She asks me to come back on Monday. I can't because I work on Monday and I work OT. Saturdays is the only day I can come in and get my nails done. So I sit there thinking that maybe they'll eventually get to me. The woman who had an appointment comes and they get started with her. Then the phone rings. And the lady who answers the phone tells the person on the phone to make an appointment for another day because they are too busy to take her. At this point, I realize that they are pretty much lying to their customers and I just had to walk out.
I've been to places where businesses have been understaffed, and yet they still book appointments and they still take walk-ins, which is how I know that they are lying. They lost a potential client willing to pay for their services and are turning away clients because it looks like to me they don't want to work. Essentially Nails Designs, you are losing money this way and that is not good for business just like this review.

They fixed a terribly thick, lumpy, job from another nail salon I went to and turned them into these!! I was so happy I knew I should have just got my nails done here like I always do.

Every time I going they do such a GREAT job. I'm very happy when I leave. My girls go there Sister my mom and my brother too. Totally satisfied. . U go girls. U be doing a damn thing....

Love this place! Best pedicure, leg and hand message ever. I 've been a customer for almost three years and would never go anywhere else.

Read reviews seen this place had good reviews. Lee did excellent job on nails. Will for sure be back. Best I had in this area.
