I made an appointment about 5-7 days prior and when I arrived on time for my appointment, no one was available to do my hair. They had to call someone in and I waited about 45 minutes before my hair was started. I am not tender headed but my head hurt when I left and for about 4 days after especially around the edges. (Why do they think every baby hair must be braided?) I liked the hairstyle fairly well (Senegalese twists) but the synthetic hair they use is itchy and 2-3 of my braids fell out in less than 3 weeks. Also I was told on the phone when I booked that the style would take about 4 hours but it ended up being 6 hours.

While the ladies are nice and so is the owner.. going into a salon at 8am and leaving at 5pm is a NOOO! The problem is, they hate to turn folks away! So instead of scheduling appointment and doing walk-in IF YOU CAN..they start on EVERYBODY that walks in and have you all waiting. So people that came 4-5 hours after you finish at about the same time you do! That’s unprofessional! The key to a quality salon is not only to provide a good braiding style but to also try to retain customers. You can’t retain customers if they feel looked over and their personal time wasted. I will not go back!

This place was great!
I got box braids and they didn’t even hurt.
They listened to my every need and worked fast but with great quality!
They were also extremely nice and friendly to be around!
My hair looks amazing and I can’t wait to go again I totally recommend this place!

They did a rush job on my hair. Some were loose & some were noticeably short. Just 5days after my hair was done, the braids started slipping down. Lucky 4me, I have a good grade of hair & I can braid. So Im repairing the braids myself. The ladies are really sweet. Very good people, but Im not going back

I really enjoyed my shampoo! My ears are super sensitive and Marie protected my ears without me saying anything at all. On the top of that I loved my hair!
