Recently have been shopping Saks online, but miss shopping in-store which is always a 5-star experience. Great selections. My top 3 list of places to shop for clothes and shoes in NYC.

The bridal salon at Saks was wonderful. They had all but one of the gowns our bride wanted to try on. No worries they could have the remaining gown in the store the following week. Our consultant was very knowledgeable and was able to steer our party in just the right direction. Our bride was very satisfied with her experience at Saks and happily found the gown in which she will be married. It was a very successful appointment.

Iconic store. If you're in need if a personal shopper Jayne Altman is definitely the way to go - she's excellent. As far as the store, a truly upscale environment with the best selection in NYC.

i been shopping with SAKS for years.
Yesterday, I opened a bottle of face mask from Saks.
I found it is opened.
I call Saks many times, and each calls over 30 mins waiting.
what an unfortunately, the call was not answer domestically.
they promise to have someone to pick it up for a return. I was at home all day. no one comes up.
I wrote emails to them - no reply.
at the end, I placed my order with Nordstorm. They are so much better. DO NOT SHOP AT SAKS

This location lives up to the expectations most people have of the Saks Flagship store. The outside holiday decorations are exquisite and attract a lot of tourists and locals who are visiting St Patrick's Cathedral next door or the Rockefeller Center sites and shows.
Inside, the store is nicely decorated and has a good assortment of very high priced merchandise from global name brand as well as several floors of just normal expensive wares. It's a beautiful store, but there is no economy section. Be ready to spend a lot.
