I had an awful time here. I went for a simple mani and this lady (I don’t know her name but I think she was older) kept telling me I should do gel and asking why I didn’t wanna do gel. Then, she proceeds to sit me down and keep telling me to do gel after I already picked the regular color I wanted. I kept politely declining but she was definitely judging me for not getting gel. She then proceeded to take out an obviously used and uncleaned file, tap it on the table to get other peoples’ nail particles off, and she then used it on my nails (all the while she was barely looking at what she was doing on my nails because she was looking at a group of other girls that came in and wanted more expensive services). NEXT SHE USED THE METAL ACRYLIC MOTORIZED GRINDER FILE ON MY CUTICLES AND CUT THREE OF MY FINGERS. OUCH. She didn’t even use the nipper to get the dead skin off thoroughly so at the end my nails looked like I could’ve just done it myself. I thought the worst was over, but the lady “massaged” my hands (and by “massaged” I mean she put lotion on my arms and hands in like 20 seconds. Not very relaxing). Finally she shlopped the polish on way too thick and it took forever to dry. All of this was done in 10 minutes and I paid $20 for it. Needless to say I was angry.

Customer for several months before switching over due to unprofessional service, quality is awful (always get gel, and would have some start chipping same day or shortly after) never lasted the full “2-3” weeks. The time that really pushed me to never come back was when I came in (and called ahead) to simply get my nails removed- I was seated and told to move to 4 different people. I mean I literally had each person take off 2 nails each. Weird, and unprofessional. For anyone looking for great service - look at Rain at sola salon.

i typically dont go here but i was in a hurry one day so i just decided to stop in and see if they were any good since i have heard good things... well, they were not good for me. i got my nails done less than a week ago and a couple have already lifted off and broke. i was not pleased with the guy not listening to me when i said i wanted something done differently and he told me no. these are my nails and i am the one that has to look at them all day everday. needless to say i will not be going back. i will continue going to polished. thats the place to go.

I love Tips n Toes! Sarah always does such a great job with my dip powder nails and pedicures! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Instead of letting me dry my pedicure under the dryer, they removed the foam dividers and sprayed my toes with a Neurtrogen bottle labeled "quick dry". The polish smeared and got on my toes. I called to have them fixed and they do not return my call/message.
