Unfortunately I’m never going back there, the wait is ridiculous even though I’ve called beforehand. I’ve waisted my whole morning there twice already. There’s only one girl who does a good job so everyone waits on her. Looking for a better place.

This a good shop to get your nails done and leave with good results. I’ve been coming here for over a year now. As of recently it has become more like a daycare than a nail shop. The owners bring their kids who are running around playing and it’s unprofessional and a bit annoying. I support small businesses but still maintain a level of professionalism.

I went there because they had low prices. I justified the service and quality by the price of the nails. They over buff the natural nail and they don’t do a good job. While i was getting my nails done I got told to pay before she continued, when only being half way done and i thought that was very odd. After the visit I counted the change she gave me and she had taken an extra dollar, I guess she got it as a tip for herself. I always see them wear a mask when using the products and there is always a strong smell. I discovered that those are clear signs of them using MMA products. MMA is a cheap poisonous bonding agent used in acrylic nails which hurt your nails by causing fungal infections and nail deformities. MMA is banned in the U.S. If you ever see them refill the liquid they use on your nails it’s a bottle with no ingredients, nothing that makes it look thats it’s is for professional use. The alternative is called EMA which is a bit more expensive but is much safer. This is how this nail salon is able to offer such cheap prices than others. Please be aware of what they do to your nails, and the consequences of using cheap defective products on your hands and nails.

Look I’m gonna be real honest. This is an area where there is only 3 nail salons. They are the cheapest around Houston and do a phenomenal job. Don’t expect this business to be a “call and make an appointment” because y’all need to understand it’s a mom and pop shop environment. So don’t raise the standards like you are in the suburbs, you aren’t. You’re in the heart of Fifth Ward. I love my nails with it being fall, I went with a basic two nail color shellac. $25 for my SHELLAC fake nail refill (This means they remove your prior shellac color off your fake nail(s) and then buff and touch up with powder then paint on your new shellac color), $3 nail replacement (broke my pinky fake nail so needed a full shellac fake nail replacement), and $8 for them to just paint my toes with regular nail polish. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience and recommend going here for good quality nails for a very nice price tag. Pictures of my nails attached.
