I am new to the area and was given the recommendation of getting my nails done at Impressive Nails. The male technician lacked in customer service seeming to be inconvenienced by having to do a basic manicure and pedicure. His work was of poor quality and the polish on my toenails chipped the next day. Declaring not to return I elected to go to Nails By Darlene. My first visit was great. Quality work performed by a female technician who was genuinely concerned if I was satisfied. It was also the day before New Years so the salon was busy. I did not feel rushed or pushed through. The second time I went a male technician did my nails. When the lady managing the front desk told him, I was his next customer, he snapped back at her in his native tongue. A verbal exchange occurred. Once again I experienced poor quality work. I did however decide to return and ask for a female technician. I requested a manicure and pedicure with pink polish on my toenails and clear on my fingernails. All was going well and I was the only customer in the salon. Two other customers arrived and were accommodated. A third customer arrived who happened to be a woman who works at the same place I do and who is less than pleasant to be around. Never the less I spoke. She ignored my greeting and asked my technician was she was about done with me. The technician responded yes, then rushed through my manicure without putting clear nail polish on my fingernails. I will not return or recommend this establishment.

I get my nails done here all the time with shellac for $30. They're usually quick always friendly. Your not supossed to get shellac on your toes cuz you have to soak or grind it off. But I do get my toes done here every couple months w regular polish. I know they STERILIZE they're equipment :-D
