Worst experience ever don’t go to that place unprofessional didn’t have the car ready on time 10:30 am.. almost 3hr late and they need it to wash & clean it still! So I canceled and now It a nightmare going through a process to get your money back

I reserved a car online after my own car got a flat tire. But when I got to the counter, I was told the store only honors reservations made 24 hours in advance. Then why did the website happily confirm my reservation? Why did I have to walk there to find out about this?? Thanks for nothing!

Apparently got an upgrade,however,my sister was smart. Took it to American tires and was told the tires were really bad especially driving out in Arizona. Took the car back to the rental place.

German at the Montclair’s office was really professional and very helpful. He made the transition very smoothly with no complications from our insurance and with no hesitation at all. He answered all of my questions and was very detail oriented. Unfortunately our time was up with the rental car and when we had to return the vehicle to a closer location I found that the Temecula office was closer. So I called the Temecula office just to make sure it was okay to drop off the vehicle there. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the lady who answered the phone and she stated that I could not drop off the vehicle there because I had to call the Montclair office to notify them to switch the drop off location. She then gave me a 800 number for customer service and stated that they could do the transfer. I was on the phone repeatedly because each time they gave me the information was different. One said that they could not do it, to call the office where I had picked up the car. I called Montclair office and they were closed. The hours on the web page said 7:30 am obviously that’s incorrect. They open Montclair office until 9 am. I only had a short period to drop off vehicle since I needed a ride ack to my house. After being passed around from customer service I finally got a hold of German in Montclair and he stated that I was given the wrong information. That I was able to drop off the car in Temecula with no problem. I drop off the vehicle and OMG! The people there were so rude. They didn’t acknowledge me walking in to their office, three other people arrived as well and no acknowledgement. A lady was walking out and said if you are dropping off I’ll take the keys and we will email you the receipt. I gave her the Jets as well as another man. Until this day I have not received no receipt from the Temecula office. Three days later Hertz from Montclair called and said where’s the car? I was like in Temecula office. She stated that they couldn’t find the vehicle, I told her I drop off the vehicle Friday morning, I handed the keys to the lady that worked there. She said thank you never heard back. Then come to find out that I had to re rent another car because my vehicle was no where near done. Once again I called Montclair and German answered and once again 100 percent on point with everything. German deserves a raise, I arrived to Montclair office there was a couple of people in front of me. Waited patiently understanding that the lady who was helping had to leave to a doctors appointment which she stated very clearly I can’t help you because I’m leaving to a doctors appointment. I was like oh okay. She left and German was trying to help everyone but at the same time acknowledging everyone who walked in. Now that’s 100 percent customer service. Once again helped me out and on point with everything. Even though he had people there, phone was wringing he did everything on his own. He can definitely handle the office on his own. Once again anyone looking to rent a car with Hertz they need to go see German at the Montclair office. You won’t be disappointed.

German, Dara and Omatseyin were absolutely fabulous to work with. German went above and beyond and I cannot recommend this sweet young gentleman, enough. You made my entire Hertz experience fabulous. Shame on Hertz Corp though for charging a $50 cleaning fee. I rented and traveled in the vehicle for 3 weeks so of course it was going to be a little dirty. It definitely was not trashed by any means. Definitely recommend this Montclair office to anyone. They rock!
