It is close now for rebuild.
We've gone there in 2011/2014 and it was amazing. It was really a good hotel and a beautiful place. Maybe was a little expensive. It is now closed since March 2016 for full renovation and room upgrade (and removing half of the rooom capacity). The addition of 2 private towers of 46-story just right in front of the west view may be... not a good idea and mask the sun, the beautiful view and destroy the former pool and the park... The hotel could reopen in 2018 as Fairmont Century Plaza Los Angeles.
