I can't even believe this place has any bad reviews. I literally won't go any where else in Hauppauge. I find that the owners and employees at this nail place are completely invested in their clients. I personally love Kim and Maria, the attention to detail is amazing. I have had both of them completely remove the polish on a nail and start over because of a spot of fuzz or a speck of whatever. I appreciate that. I don't spend a lot of money on myself, but I do splurge on my nails, so I appreciate that they care as much as I do. The owner John is so attentive and always gives the BEST massages. I highly recommend Nails 4 U. !

Possibly the most horrible experience ever at a nail salon. Received a gift certificate for Christmas to Nails 4 You. Went in for a manicure and pedicure to unwind and get a little pampering after the holiday stress. The owner John suggested a $48 dollar pedicure which sounded appealing. I noticed the water was barely warm but figured it would b hot once jets were on and water was circulating. He took polish off put cream on my legs then walked away. A nail tech came and said she would do my manicure while I was sitting in the chair. What the owner and the nail tech did not tell me was there was NO hot water in the building. The manicure I had while sitting in the chair allowed for the owner to go out to store and buy bottled water. He walked right passed me with 4 gallons of water to eventually come out from the back room with a tea pot of heated water!!!!! I explained to him I thought it was wrong of him to suggest s $48 pedicure when he clearly knew he did not have hot running water. Had he told me the building was having an issue with hot water due to work that was being done I would have simple had a manicure and return on a different date for a relaxing pedicure. I let him know a tea pot of hot water was not acceptable and very poor judgement on his part. Quite honestly I believe he saw nothing wrong with his behavior snd if I didn't complain he would gladly have taken my $48. I will NEVER step foot in his salon as his actions show money means more than honesty and a satisfied customer. He should be MORTIFIED by his behavior!!! Should not even show 1 star but needed to show something to leave comment. HORRID experience!!!!!!!
