This was my second time trying this salon, since it is closer to my home, but I will not be returning. My coworkers and I had a terrible experience with Ken. He was very unprofessional and rude. He was very short and unwilling to any additional requests- example: adding a glittery top coat to the polish.
I brushed it off and figured he was just having a bad day. So I let it go. But then, my coworker was asking me about what length and color of nails I recommend because where we work only allows certain colors (neutrals) to be worn on fingernails and nails may not be past fingertip length. Mind you, I am my coworkers’ boss and was paying for them to have their nails done. I informed her of the rules and Ken rudely interjected and told my coworker “don’t listen to her, you get what you want. It’s your nails.” He then started speaking ill about me to her while I was sitting 5 feet away from them. This put her in a very uncomfortable situation and she politely responded with, “That is my boss, so I’m just asking to make sure with her.” He rolled his eyes and proceeded to put her in an uncomfortable and extremely unprofessional situation in continuing to speak poorly about me. I am deeply disappointed by the level of unprofessionalism of this facility. I highly suggest you visit the other salons in Athens, perhaps the one downtown at the Mark. Or even the one next to Kroger on Barnett Shoals. They have MUCH better customer service and the quality is great! I have never had a bad experience with customer service at a nail salon in Athens until today.

They staff here is so nice! I love that they are open later then other places. I asked for a specific design and they did a amazing job!!! Please keep in mind that these photos were taken a week after they did my nails.

PSA !!! I got a pedicure here about 3 weeks ago. The next day my big toe was oozing clear liquid. I thought it would clear up but it turned into an infection.
I went to the spa to inform them of this.
I wasn't worried about getting my money back. I just wanted to let them know that this infection happened after my pedicure .
Clearly, there is no protocol in place when this happens. The guy on staff looked at it and said it was an ingrown nail.
I went to the doctor the day before and they said it could be an ingrown nail but there is no way to know until the swelling and infection heals.
Obviously I won't be going back to this establishment, but I thought it was the right thing to do to leave this review.

Amazing place I will never go anywhere else! Very friendly staff, the nicest nail salon in Athens. Very modern and beautiful inside. The chandeliers are breathtaking. Not what you're used to seeing in most salons. No nail dust covering every surface, its just immensely clean and designed so uniquely. Very fair pricing and you never have to wait.

I love the whole environment and the soft jazz music; Jade Was wonderful, I had the Therapy pedicure. I’ve found my new nail salon❤️
