I gotten my nails done 6 days ago and two nails ALREADY broken smh. First of all the nail tech, Tracy didn’t do a great job with my acrylic full set. They are too thick. I showed her a pic of “coffin nails” tell me why my nails looks nothing like the reference pic. My nails are different sizes, some are longer than the other ones. Just plain awful. This was my first time coming to this salon and I definitely would not be back. Honestly I wasn’t going to write a review because I was gonna take this L in silence but once two nails broken in one day I had to let others know. I definitely gone to different salons where my full set lasted for 3 weeks before getting a fill or without a nail breaking.

I’ve been going to this nail salon for two years. Brenda typically does my nails and toes and she’s great. Today she was busy so “Tammy” did my nails I saw Brenda finishing up and asked if she was done , Tammy became irate saying you can wait for her if you don’t want me to do your nails I don’t want to do them either. I told her I didn’t have time to wait and it was okay. She started talking about me to her other coworkers and left me sitting at the table. This place will never receive my business again.

We have been going to this nail salon next to Hawthorne’s in huntersville for several years. We have left & not gone back for periods of time due to the owner’s misbehavior. We have been coming back for a few months giving the owner, Tammy, another try. Today, June the 2nd, Saturday we came in as normal to have our nails & feet done. We asked for certain people to do our nails & feet that we knew would do a good job because in the past some of the employees were lazy & did a mediocre job. We were willing to wait & we did & then when one of us sat down to get our nails done they told my mom they needed to leave & go home. They didn’t want to finish the job. They were going to let my mom leave without her nails getting dry under the drying machine. They swayed my mom from getting a new set done because they wanted to go home. Her nails were brown & that’s a health risk. Times in the past my mom, sister & I have had fungus related issues from this nail shop. To sum it up, you might want to make a better choice before coming to this business.

I went in the mid-afternoon on a Thursday when they really weren’t busy and I received excellent service and attention. The tech was extremely friendly and professional. I tried SNS nails for the first time and so far I am loving it. Looks and feels much better than gel. They started to get busy near the end of my manicure (around 3:30pm) so I would definitely recommend trying to go earlier or having an appt in the evenings.
