I just left this shop and witness the owners allowing White customer to pay with personal checks due to their card reader not worker. However these owner refused to accept Payment in via personal check from three African American customers. I was shocked and disappointed experiencing this poor customer service/racism. Please find another shop to receive services besides this shop.

First of all, I wish I didn't have to give a star.. The dude that works in their is VERY RUDE.. He picked the wrong female today.. Both of my daughters was getting their nails did. I had to stop the lady (she's new) because she wasn't doing them correct. And he THOUGHT he could talk to me any kind of way because I asked her a question.. Hell nawl.. He got put in his place and I will never go there again.

Went here today with my aunts to get there eye brows waxed. The owner asked all of us if we were getting anything done. My aunts were showed to there seats and no one was available to service them. The owner told me to seat in the waiting area. I informed him that I was going to talk to my aunts, since they were not getting service yet and had to wait. I stood up the talking low to my aunts and we also socialized with other customers in the shop. I made sure to stand because I did want to take up a client seat. There were no one seated on the side were the eye brow waxing was being done. Twenty minutes later the owner told his son to ask me specfically, if I was getting service. I informed him that I was not, he then asked me to seat over in the waiting area. I told him that I am just standing here to talking to my aunts while they wait. He said that his he (father) was agitated. I informed him that I wasn't during anything but conversing with my aunts. He then said, "please for me because he will throw you out!" I said, "For what talking lowly?" To throw us out is extremely rude and they should cater to the customers, not customer cater to them. If the place was super crowded, I would have waited in the seat but it wasn't. I certainly didn't think it would be a huge issue. No one in the shop was disturb because no one was on that side. There were only two people working and four people waiting.
It shows that the owner has thrown people out before his threat to us. We left because you don't talk and mistreat people who are paying you money. This is the only nails shop in Dawson but I nor my family will never go there again. He will not talk or disrespect us again, especially since we are paying customer. I would advice everyone else to stay away. If the owner cannot be respectful or doesn't like people, then why be in customer service!
