I recently moved to Monrovia and was looking forward to trying out the nail salon nearby, hoping it could be my new go-to spot. A close friend and I went this afternoon and were disappointed by our experience. We had heard poor reviews from others saying the customer service is below average but wanted to give Sassy Nails the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, those sources were accurate. The atmosphere was not warm and welcoming and there was no sense whatsoever of a “spa like experience” - there seems to be a lot of tension and stress in this workplace. The nail technician I had, who I strongly believe is the owner, not only spoke rudely to me several times but was rushed and did a poor, sloppy job on my nails. After she started with another client, I mentioned to my friend all the polish on my fingers and the woman overheard - she made a rude comment that seemed like she wanted me to feel bad for critiquing her work. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. It’s really unfortunate because I now live down the street and am looking for a place to go every other week. Oh well, driving to Frederick is worth it for good customer service ! (P.s. the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because my friend’s technician was sweet and treated us kindly.)

Love this place the shape I rarely can find anywhere to get this place did beautifully and the color vibrant yet elegant and the price was extremely affordable great place would recommend

The women at Sassy nails are sweet and kind to me. I watch them work hard and try to make sure everyone is happy. I love my gel nails and they are helpful with create ideas!

It is always a great experience at Sassy Nails. The owner is very talented and nice. I would recommend all to visit the Spa.

I've been here 3 times now and will never ever go back. The first time I walked in without an appointment but was told I could be seen, but then when people who came in who HAD appointments my nail technician stopped in the middle of doing my nails and started on someone else. The second and third times I made an appointment and the nail tech rushed through so quickly because other people walked in while she was working on mine. She kept looking up and around and I swear she barely paid any flipping attention to the rough drill she was using on my flipping fingers. She cut my fingers, left harden acrylic under them, and the shapes and length of my nails were all different and uneven. I really wanted to keep giving this place the benefit of the doubt, but after having made an appointment twice and then getting rushed and terrible results I will never go back. Good luck to you if you go, and maybe have some pain killers on hand because those cuts on your fingers will hurt babe. 😂😫😡
