I usually go to another salon that has always styled my hair for prom very well but I decided this year I would go to Salon by Dominic since it is close to my house. I have never had such a horrible experience with getting my hair done. I had shown the hairdresser pictures and was very specific of what I wanted done and when she finished my hair looked nothing like what I wanted. Its like she never even looked at the pictures I showed her. Not only did my hair look bad but as soon as I got home it all fell apart. Then I had to rush to redo my own hair after I spent $110 on horrible service and quality. Afterward, my mom tried to get a refund and was told that they would call her back. Most businesses would be apologetic and go out of their way to make it up to the customer. But when the manager called my mom back we were extremely shocked with how rude he was by accusing us of intentionally messing it up and saying that I am probably just not use to having my hair up even though I've had my hair up for the last two proms. We never got a refund. I am never going here again and hopefully no one else has this kind of experience.

Morgan cut my hair today and she listened to exactly what I asked for. I am incredibly happy with my haircut. I will be returning!

5 Stars for the colorist Gabby, she is worth every penny, one star for the owner Dominic who charged me 75.00 just to trim the bottom of my hair straight across and cut a angle down the front of one side. That's it, nothing more, no feathering, no short long bob, no wispy bangs which I had said I liked. I look like little Lord Fortenroy. I had over 3 feet of thick full hair, and this is the what he does. I could have cut my own hair like this for free. He also manhandled me, I do not need someone pushing down on my head, nor do I need someone pulling my shoulders back, especially in light of the fact that I am recovering from a broken neck and have a left arm and shoulder with extensive surgery. I told him this when I first came in because I was concerned about putting my head back in the sink. So what does he do, he pushed my head down, not once but twice, even after I told him, please do not do that again. Then he squeezes my shoulders back, but before he could do it again, I pulled his hand off of my bad shoulder. I have called several times since Thursday, and the last time was today, still no phone call back. He obviously does not care

On my prom day I went looking for an updo. Salon by Dominic passed along from a specifically chosen hairdresser to another without any phone call or email. My hair looked alright but not like the picture I showed originally. After leaving I noticed a few “messy-ish” areas & came back to have it fixed (stressful situation). My hair dresser was the sweetest however I wish I’d stuck to doing it myself.

Love this place! Great service and awesome people. The stylists are very talented and really know what the are doing. Cynthia Maniscalco is the best!
