I experienced bad service from the same man both times (about 5 months apart). I looked past it the first time, but today I paid and left early. After my acrylic was applied, I opted for no polish for my nails and toes due to the extreme level of uncomfortability I felt by sitting in his chair and feeling his mood. Additionally, he cut 3 of my cuticles until they bled.

I went in today for a French Manicure. After speaking with the technician, Lu (?), I upgraded to gel nail polish. She did an EXCELLENT job. After reading the reviews here, I was concerned about bleeding but nothing of the sort happened. I enjoyed polite conversation with her, and was impressed with her understanding and use of English - her second language.
I also decided to get a pedicure, and she did a great job there too.
I did witness a rude customer who had a different technician (next to me). She wasn’t happy with something he had done. Instead of complaining to management and raising your voice, insulting the guy like he can’t understand what you’re saying, speak nicely to them if you’re unhappy and give them an opportunity to fix your problem. If it’s not resolved, by all means, speak to the manager - respectfully.
These businesses are dealing with rude customers on a daily basis, many of whom are stealing - walking out under the pretence of “getting their purse from their car” while never returning to pay. It’s shameful. Karma will catch up.
This, and the cultural difference, could be the reason behind what some find “rude”. Be nice. Treat them with respect and maybe you’ll get the same.

I came in for a manicure which is $12 according to the wall. I was charged $17. I didn't even get paint. I just wanted them cleaned and buffed. She cut my cuticles and drew blood on three nails. Left dirt under them and filed them way down after I told her I wanted to keep the length. I have been here a few times and it hasn't been great but this is the end. Period.

The service was very poor, they didn’t ask me if I needed any help and let me wait a hour while they helped other customers with service. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME TO LISA NAILS.
