George Automotive has always treated me as a priority customer. I can generally get an appointment within a few days with lots to f flexibility. They always return calls in an appropriate amount of time. Any unexpected expenses are discussed before moving forward. Pricing is very comparative to other garages. I highly recommend.

While visiting my son in Danville I had the misfortune to roll over a screw and it ended in the tread area. I had an important appointment that I needed too attend to in York. Being a stranger, I had no idea where to have the tire repaired. I googled for repair shops and found Georges.shop. The female shop manager was very courteous and reassured me they could repair my tire and get me back on the road. They fixed my flat for a very reasonable fee. The waiting room was very clean and comfortable. I tried to leave a tip after paying for the repair but the desk clerk wouldn't accept it. The following day I received a text message to inquire about my repair. A+ customer service. I would have no problem telling my friends to consider having their cars cared for at George's service station. They do all kind of repairs and state inspections.

Definitely a place that likes to nickle and dime you for things. I went here for an inspection because of their coupon, but apparently if you fail, the coupon doesn't apply. Fine, no problem. The woman at the front desk (not the one that's new) was very confrontational when I asked about that. She got even more confrontational when she was giving me a thousand dollars of bad news like I should have known better or it was my fault. Thanks. When I continued to ask why it failed, she just kept saying things that didn't make sense because she clearly didn't know (I think she's the owner though?). I get she's not a tech, but offer to get one if you don't know. Eventually I got a tech and he was great, answering my questions in two minutes. It was a legitimate failure, no issue there, it was just handled poorly. It was the end of the day so maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe as bad as my day after being told I need at least $1200 or repairs before it will pass. I worked incredibly hard to get all of the repairs and replacements done by myself in under a week and called to have it inspected. I didn't want to miss any work so I asked if they could get it in in the morning. The same lady told me on the phone that it's fine and she is always there at least a half hour early so feel free to bring it then. I get there 20 minutes early and the doors are locked. After waiting 20 minutes, she comes strolling around the corner with an ice coffee. Fine. I go in and they check everything then give me the sticker. Then they charge me for said sticker. Are all of these charges normal? Not at my last place, but if they are in this new county then I guess I can't blame the business. But man can I blame them for how they treated me as a person.

I had an intermittent issue with my 2006 Honda CRV that started last year. It let up and only occasionally resurfaced. Late this summer (2024) the problem resurfaced and refused to go away. Because of the modern technology needed to diagnose issues within the vehicle computer systems, I took my vehicle to George Automotive to get checked out on the machine. They found one issue and replaced a part thinking that's were the problem was being generated. It didn't solve issue and I took the car back to the garage. They gave me a loaner and went over the systems in detail till the solved the issue! They invested a lot of hours to discover the problem and did not charge another single penny!! Car is running great thanks to George's I'm a very, very happy camper. Also, thanks to Bob in the office, for guiding me through!

I travel to Geisinger from Reading, which is about 2 hours away. Today, my check engine light came on. I called for assistance and the team was willing to help me without question. John and Mike read the code on my vehicle and gave me direction to get me home safely. They were so helpful and kind. I am so impressed! Highly recommend!
