I have been looking for a good nail salon near me for over a year. FINALLY, I am so happy I tried this place. I got a full set with gel polish from Holly. It is truthfully the best I’ve ever gotten. She took her time, examined every nail before polishing. Asked me after each step if I was happy. I never felt rushed and everyone was very pleasant. I highly recommend Just Nails in Lakehurst
I am really surprised at the one star review that someone gave. I am very hard on my hands and nails doing landscaping. I can honestly say this is the best set and polish I have ever received. I called my sister in law a few days after raving about this place.

If I could give it zero stars I would.
On Sunday 5/7 I stopped in to Just Nails and asked Holly (the new owner) for a gel manicure and pedicure. She said she doesn't do gel pedicures and went on and on about how bad it is for your toes because you have to drill the polish off. That is false you I know because I only get gel manicures and pedicures. I just agreed to the polish because I wanted a pedicure and she won't do gel 🤷🏽♀️.
Monday 5/8 notice one of my toes is messed up. (I had socks and sneakers on the previous day.) I tried to contact the salon and they were closed. I called on Tuesday to explain about my one of my toes and how one of my finger nails the gel polish is chipped. I explained the extreme displeasure because gel polish is supposed to last up to 2 weeks (they even have a sign that says so). I made an appointment for Sunday 5/14 to get it fixed because that was my next day off.
I wake up and on Wednesday and see another nail is chipped. 😡. Fine I said to myself you have an appointment. Fast forward to Thursday 5/11. My nails at this point look like I've had the polish on for 3 1/2 weeks and dragged my finger on cement on two fingers and one finger is mildly chipped.
I call Holly and explain I don't want them to redo it the quality is extremely poor I want my money back. She tells me to come in so she can see the nails.
Even longer story short... Holly (the owner and the person who did my nails) says that if all 10 nails were chipped then she would give me my money back but it's only 3 so let her fix it. When I say one nails is bad there is almost 1/4 of the polish missing from it. Then tells me she didn't say gel polish lasts for 2 weeks. THERE IS A SIGN IN THE FRONT THAT SAYS THAT. There is also a sign of their price list that has gel pedicure on it (that she refuses to do). She took a marker out in front of me and crossed it out. After going back and forth she then started blaming me for the polish chipping because I didn't come back in 24 hrs. They were closed on Monday and when I spoke to her Tuesday she just wanted to make another appointment. She refused to give me my money back and after I agreed for her to fix it on Sunday she continued to blame me saying that I could have done anything to cause the chipping. No I didn't!
The quality of work and horrible customer service deserves zero stars and they do not deserve your money.

I love to work at Just nails because it 's clean ,friendly, fresh atmosphere and I do the best I can to make Customer happy .
My name is Holly , manage Just nails store from Sept.2015 . I want to explain what happened with Mrs. Teresa R , what she complained about .
- On 5/7/17 Teresa walked to salon for gel color pedi & gel color mani . I refused to do gel pedi .She agreed to get regular color on her toes . So, I did regular colorpedi & gel color mani for her .
- On 5/9/17 she complained about colors chipped off .I made appointment to fix them on Sun 5/14 at 2:00 pm .
- On 5/11/17 She call again to want money back . I told her I want to see how bad nails & feet were .
She came to show me them and she was starting to look all the sign ( price list , regulations, note, ..) in salon .
I saw color of her right big toe was wrinkled and missing at a part of free edge cause hitting sock $ shoe . " No problem, I "ll fix it .." I thought .
On her nails , there were index & thump ' color a little bit chipped off at free edge . Another thump , there was a piece of gel color chipped about 1/4 nail with perfect line because tearing . I told her that there were three nails chipped off , I wanted to fix them 3 or redid all 10 nails instead of return money back .
She didn't let me finish my words , she talked so loud at me about how bad she "s feeling when people looked at her nails, how hard she worked to pay for nails, how bad job I did . And she asked many questions : why I refused to do nails like the sign said so , why the nails not stayed in 2 weeks like the sign said so, if I was a professional one ,how many years iI was in experience ,..she said she got baby she couldn't come after 24 hours like the sign request .....
I let her finish her words , I asked her let me finish my words.
I explained that I didn't like to do gel pedi , and there was another manicurist did it , so the sign said so. I didn't guaranty the nails not chipping of for 2 weeks , there were many reasons for nails last long , they depended on how good the product was, how good the experience nails tech was, how good the client took care nails....I told her that i don't think I was the best manicurist ,but i did my best to bring happiness to client , I could correct the mistakes to do better and better, that 's how I grew up .
She asked me if I could come at 9:00 am , I replied " Yes " . she asked me " Why you say you can not come at 9:00 , you come at 11:00 only ? "
OMG !! I didn't say so . I said the store opened at 11:00 . I means I could come at 9:00 to fix nails for her . I thought I tried to fix problem . SHE WAS LOOKING FOR PROBLEM .
She wanted me to do her gel pedi one more time because the sign said so . OMG!!! I did across out the gel color pedi service right in front of her like the final answer.
I said that there were 2 nail color chipped off, 1 nail color piece missing because ripped of , I wanted to redid all instead of returning money , if she couldn't let me redid that was not fair for me. She yelled at me : '' YOU BLAME ON ME ? IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME MONEY BACK . I'' LL LET THE WORLD KNOW HOW BAD YOUR BUSINESS IS "
True or false , right or wrong , any problem will be correct , will become better .. DEPEND ON BOTH SIDE .
