I've been to this day spa many times over the years. Always a great experience. Today was exceptional! I called mid afternoon to see if there was anything tmw or today. Claudia took my name and number to ask the therapist if she could stay later. She called back quickly and said yes 6pm. I got there about 10 mins early and the massage therapist Deborah was already waiting and took me to the room. (Steep steps BTW, in a former cottage). We started early and finished late! I got about 20 mins extra time. I mean wow! And all my aliments we discussed were fully taken care of during the session. Even a nice eye mask for when laying on my back. I will book with her again. $80 vs $60 at a chain...there is no comparison!

I had the pleasure to meet the owner, she done my facial and it was refreshing. Everyone was so nice and welcoming . Thank you all for the wonderfull service . I will be back :)

I visited European Day Spa yesterday afternoon. The location is cute and the facility is appealing to the eye on the surface. The staff was prompt to call me back on time. The staff has the affect of a dull wet cloth. Most of the staff lack social skills.
As I sit waiting for I listen to the receptionist take a call. The hang up and proceed to talk trash about the person that called. Still I am not convinced to never return yet.
Once I called back to the room. I am asked if I wear contacts. The tech explained the health risk of tinting with contacts in, then she proceeds to offer me contact solution and a holding container. I think great. Until we are all done and I am starting to toss the used container then she says” oh just leave it there I sterile them.” She says, I sterile them then rinse them also with water. 😳 so I am sharing body fluids with others?!?! I did find it odd when she pulled the contact container out of the drawer then run water over it. All contact users know water and soft contacts don’t mix.
The whole visit this lady is chatting about how she does not like my particular place of employement with examples. The first example was not a true happening the second example is true but is it the entire facilities fault what one individual does in private. Again I keep my mouth shut since I am not wanting to upset the person holding my vision in her hands.
Overall, the service was fine. And I have been a customer over the past years. The attitudes have not changed. But as much as I pay for relaxation I will not return here. There are cheaper places with much better customer service.
