There is so much to see it’s almost impossible to do it all in a day. I was able to get in at 10am and go right to book the Historic Apollo 11 Mission Control tour and got on the tram for The training centre and rocket park but just barely and felt rushed. I tried emailing customer service before my visit to try and get some tips to maximize my day as I only had 1 day, and all I got was a message that they can’t make any promises that I’d see what I wanted to see...duh. Now that I’ve been here is what I did and what I’d recommend. I got there a few minutes before opening and got in line. That was a mistake; the line was for entry and not for tickets. There are booths and electronic kiosks; the electronic kiosks are way faster and hidden at the side. We got in and went straight to booking our Apollo Mission Control times tram ticket which was smart cause it sold out, but I booked an 11:30 time which didn’t leave much time to look around before going to the tram line. One we got back the line ups for the non timed trams to the training centre and Orion mission control were insane so we spent over an hour in line ups and by the time we got back to the space centre the tours were done and we missed the Orion mission control and didn’t have much time to view other exhibits. What I would recommend is getting in and booking the Apollo tram but for later like one of the last ones. Then do the other tours before the crowds come. Also I would consider getting a membership which would have allowed me to book the Apollo tram in advance and bypass the other tram lines.

Wow, what a wonderful place!! If you think that you can / would be able to complete in one day, highly impossible. Lot of things to know and understand. Advice, please go on weekdays and not on weekends and long weekend, please avoid. Reach early and finish tram tour as soon you enter Space center. Friendly staff who will guide and helpful.

Was really excited for NASA but was really dissapointed because I spent one and a half hour to line up for the tours. Do your research before you come to NASA, try your best not to come during crowded days. Was surprised the cafeteria food was good. At least the gift shop had great products

Great presentation of history, space race, and how the technology has changed and grown throughout our recent history. There are ever changed exhibits, with recent presentations on the latest science concepts and emerging technologies. Very interactive museum, with some great short films, plenty of information, free tram rides to Johnson space center, Saturn V rocket (huge!), and even a good food concession area with alot of seating. Whether individual or group and all ages, there's something for everyone here. I've now brought my 2 sons of 12 and 21 on separate trips. They both said it was a memorable trip and a highlight.

This is really waste of time place. Completely unorganized tram service and entire NASA center. There is lack of even common sense to efficiently route trams. They keep you waiting for hours just to see training center through window from third floor. Line management is also mess. Random people will come and give random instructions. extremely unorganized. Doesn't feel that human has reached to moon when very basic stuff is so messy. No information on what to see. There is no information at any particular point explaining you what you will get to see after standing in line. People end up standing in lines for hours just to experience how to sit upside down. a long long long way to go to even become acceptable for given price. Staff is extremely rude including photographers.
