I came in at 11:15 and asked for a powder nails, they said it would be 20 minutes but would I like to get a pedicure. I accepted the pedicure and thought they would come in 20 min to start taking off my powder as usual. The woman was doing callus removal and cut the bottom of my foot. Not only did no one come they actively took 3 other people before me. The guy finally came and started helping me and then his regular walked in and he pushed me aside to wait again for someone else. Almost 3 hours and all I got was a pedicure. I was so tired of waiting I left the salon with foils on my hands. I paid in full with a good tip regardless of the horrible service. An hour later at home I realized the woman didn’t paint an entire toenail. Left one completely bare. I will NEVER go here again, I have been coming for years and live in the area. Never been that happy with the service it’s just convenient. Even if it’s down the street from my apartment it’s not worth it. Don’t go to 125 Nail.

I have been a regular customer for almost two years, I come here every 3-4 weeks, and I only get my nails done with this one technician there (and I’m selfish so I will not even say their name) because I have have my nails done by almost every other technician there over the past year and I learned from experience that this technician is simply the best. I see the reviews and I have to agree that maybe certain staff are not at their best behavior. But I’ve worked in the service industry for 10+ years and I honestly do not blame them for standing up for themselves. Nail technicians are treated so horribly and people tip so little. I have seen so many people tip $5 or even $2 for a $30-$50 manicure/pedicure. It is just pathetic. This person just spent 1-2 hours to turn your nasty feet into beautiful sexy feet. And no, just because you are a visitor from Germany, does not excuse you from not reading store policy or at least the service/prices listed before sitting yourself down for service. Welcome to America, the land of capitalism. Nothing is free. A technician spent 15-30 min removing your color gel polish is not free. That is a rant for the previous lady who gave a bad review for not wanting to pay for polish removal and conveniently left out the part where she made the excuse that “well in Germany, polish removal is free.” Why do you think people come to America to make money? I can say with 90% certainty that every person who gave a bad review is simply entitled and don’t understand that nail salons are businesses. If you can’t afford to spend money, don’t expect to be pampered. And if you don’t make an appointment, don’t leave and come back after 30 minutes and expect your place to be saved. Do you know how many people say they’ll “be back in 30 minutes” and never come back? Do you really think a person who works on tips will pass up a customer to wait for you to come back? It’s first come first serve!!! If you don’t like it, schedule an appointment. Lastly, guarantee that if you tip generously, stay loyal to your technician, and/or make/show up for appointments consistently, you will be treated very well here. Respect goes both ways. Treat your nail technician like your equal; not your servant. Attached are a few photos of my technician’s work.

Walked in for a manicure/pedicure and was treated like less of a human being. The woman assisting me completed my pedicure then proceeded to start my manicure. About 90% through she stops and ask me to pay before she puts on clear nail polish. As I stated I was 90% done with my treatment so I’m confused why she asked me to pay now when she didn’t ask me to pay upon my arrival. It appears the woman thought I was not going to pay and run out which I could have done long before we reached this point. I am a black man so there’s no suprise with this kind of behavior from Asian Americans. If you are afraid of black people you do not need to be in the United States. I am a hard working successful man who works in one of the nearby law firms. This behavior is uncalled for !
