My dogs HATED this place. When they came home the first time they would sleep and not eat. We tried one more time and it was taking forever for them to do a bath and nail trim so my husband just popped up. As he walked in he noticed the guys trimming nails and balled up his fist like he was going to hit the dog. My husband told him "You better not!" The girl said " Oh he's nipped him a couple of times..." My husband went into the back and got our furbabies and we have never been back since. I'm surprised they're still in business honestly.

They did an awesome job on my dog and cat a while ago. The environment was clean, friendly and relaxing. **BUT** as of lately no one's been answering the phone. It's nearly impossible to make an appointment if you can't call one in and I leave voicemails but they never get returned. I'm not sure what's going on. I'd hate to drive 45 minutes there and be told that they dont have any openings. Hopefully this issue gets fixed. Until then, I don't have much of a choice but to go elsewhere.

Ive been a client of House of Paws for about a year, I scheduled an appointment for my shitzu
to be groomed, dropped her off, explained the cut I wanted and left. About 2 hours later, the
owner called me, informed me that there had been some mix up between my dog and another dog
and the cut was a little shorter than I had wanted. When I arrived to pick her up, the owner explained what had happened and offered a free bath and 75% off my next groom. The hair cut my dog had gotten was very cute and well done, just not what I had wanted originally. The staff was
very polite, the owner was very apologetic and rectified the situation. I left a happy and satisfied
customer. Everything was handled wonderfully. I will certainly continue to bring my puppy back!

I took my pup in yesterday for a bath and nail trim on Tuesday and stayed in the lobby during the visit. I was greeted by a woman who took the leash from me and passed my dog off to another person before I finished explaining my dog's needs. I was a little annoyed at this point because the girl who took my dog wasn't dressed in a uniform or name tag of any kind and handled her roughly. I told them she was finicky and before I could finish explaining she just yanked her up and took her to the back where I couldn't see her but I could HEAR her crying and whimpering. When she came to the grooming station to receive her nail trim they put her on the table with the leash tied around the bottom of the arm that keeps them on the table, the girl wasn't watching her and my dog was so nervous she jumped down to get back to me but since her leash was tied incorrectly she was HANGING by her collar and the girl still wasn't watching her and didn't pick her up until after I gasped and almost ran back there to pick her up! I was so upset! She could have broken her neck! She usually does so well at the groomers when her handlers know what they're doing. I will try the Euless and Arlington locations. I was very disappointed, I've heard good things about this place and I was looking forward to becoming a regular.

This establishment is indeed under new management. Prior to new management, this place had horrible communication and longer than optimal wait times for pet grooming. Since then I've found the owners to be very responsive when making an appointment. My dogs love getting groomed at this location. As for me, I like not having to wait 7-9 hours for my dogs to be groomed as I've experienced on many occasions with the previous management staff. Great turnaround!
