I have been going to Color nails in Central Islip for the past 3 years. It’s a little drive coming from amityville, so I decided to try something closer to my home. I let Helen do my nails & everything SEEMED ok. When I came back 2 weeks later for a filling, as she was removing the gel polish I noticed that my nail was GREEN. (which has NEVER happened to me before) When I asked her what it was she said it would go away 🤷🏻♀️ So she continued to do my nails & I told her that when I came back for my next filling( in 2 weeks) & my nails wasn’t better we were going to have problems.
2 weeks passed & I went there yesterday (7/18/18) for another filling, once the gel polish was taken off I seen that my nails were STILL GREEN !!!!!!!! She put some liquid on it I have never seen before & continued doing my nails. Come to find out it’s FUNGUS & she isn’t even supposed to do my nails when they are like that . They obviously do NOT clean anything properly or at all for that matter because if they did that wouldn’t have happened to me . I’m getring a doctors note to further verify indeed that it is fungus & I will be taking the proper steps from here on out.
The one time I switch up from my regular place I tech fungus . & they most definitely y’all abojt you & right Infront of u .

They always do a nice manicure for me. They do speak their native language to each other, but so do the Latino salons.
I went back and the man overcharged me. He did a really bad job this time.
