The staff was short and lacked niceness or professionalism. Booked for two basic pedicures which in the pamphlet they give you shows the price, but when the girl charged me she raised the price… I gently asked about the price clearly shown in the menu she first showed me and she cut me off saying it was updated in the menu, when obviously it wasn’t. Don’t mind paying more but have a nicer attitude and literally update your menus…my toes were also left with a lot of cuticles. I was disappointed :(

I love coming to Velvet Nails. They are always on time taking me for my appointment and have a great color selection. Each employee does a great job with my nails every time and I never have an issue coming in to get a nail fixed if it breaks. I have never had a bad experience - even though I moved a ways away from Oak Lawn, VN is still the only salon I trust!

I was a regular client at Velvet Nails until Covid hit. I was always impressed by Tracy and Tom and their business. Always friendly, always punctual, always clean and always, always satisfied with the dip and pedicures I received.
I returned recently after being vaccinated and so, so happy to have pretty nails again. Tom was so welcoming, I felt like I never left.

Absolutely love Velvet Nails! They are very friendly and honest. Dip manicures are beautiful and last longer than what is usually expected (about a month for me!). The salon is always extremely clean and they have good taste in music to listen to while you get pampered. I won't go anywhere else! Thank you Tom and Tracy!

Velvet Nails is one of a kind! From their dip manicures to their no chip pedicures, they are truly the best around. Great pricing, friendly staff, clean environment and so many colors to choose from. I highly recommend Velvet Nails for anyone looking to pamper themselves!
